a williams field pilgrim
I have one of those, have used it at one festival and wont be bothering again. I sleep on my side with my knees bent and it wasn't wide enough for me. I'm a very bad sleeper and can only sleep in that one position. If you lay flat to sleep then I'm sure it'll be fine. Kyelo
Yeah one of these, with a blanket or two one top, does for me. The blankets really do help to make the most of the matt.
borosupporter82
Would an inflatable lilo cut it?

BooBooKittyF**K
I've just invested in a self inflating mat this year after having the same foam roll mat for 15 years! It was time to go. I've tried it out and it is really comfy. Having also done the lilo thing, I'd definitely recommend the self inflating over that.
Comfy Bean
haha that's similar to me. I take one large fleece blanket and Tesco Value pillow(because they come rolled up in a tube). Every festival I do as soon as I have set my tent up I go and buy a chair and another blanket...my tent is then lined, snug, warm and comfortable
AnnaGrant
A proper pillow is a touch of luxury. The value pillows come compressed into their plastic bags. I bought 2 from Marks and Spencer's in 2011, for a total of about £5. Although I have lots of pillows I will get a new, packaged one for G this year. dcsessions
What's wrong with a double airbed? Am I doing it wrong? Or are self inflatable ones just more convenient?

Yoghurt on a Stick
I have moved from a heavy double airbed to a single self inflating mattress. I have found that if you blow into the matress nozzle after it has self inflated, it gives you a much more comfortable piece of bedding in which to pass out on.
