2nd resale date

Managed to enter all my reg nos and then select ticket options on the next page, but just couldn't get the payment page to load.

Does anyone know roughly what date the next resale date will be (assuming there is one).

Glasto is like a drug, just can't give it up & I refuse to give in

Some time around the cancellation deadline is the best bet, but it won't be announced in advance, and probably won't be a specific pre-determined time. If there is a next/final re-sale, the numbers will be so small that they'll just release the tickets quietly at a random time so that they'll sell out before 99% of people realise it's even happening and avoid the usual website scramble.

I'd suggest setting the booking page as your homepage, so its the first thing you see every time you start your browser. That's probably the best chance you've got.

You can probably investigate if there's an add-on that'll automatically check the page frequently and alert you to any changes?

In 2011 there was an officially announced resale on Tues 17th May at 7pm (I know because we got tickets then, and amazingly a campervan pass). The sale lasted about 8 minutes for general tickets and there were some coach packages available which went on for a bit longer. We were very very lucky!

I guess it might depend on how many tickets there are returned as to whether they chose to have an official resale so best follow the advice above just in case.

A couple of years ago the Western Daily Press, the Bristol based regional morning paper that covers the Glastonbury area, had a special promotion. You had to buy the paper for five days and collect tokens. Those didn't get you a ticket but got you the right to buy one. You still had to be pre-registered and all that.

It might be worth watching out for any little promotions like that.

I might have one to put back in the pot... I got one for a flakey friend who promised she had the money to pay me back, but has now sent me a text asking if I minded if she paid weekly?? I've given her a two week window, then its back in the pot...

It will be after 3 May, which is the final date for refunds.

Like earlier poster in 2011 it was Tuesday 17 May at 7pm and lasted about 12 minutes for tickets, but coach packages were available for longer. We bought in that last resale. Scary.

It was announced by Glastonbury Festivals on website, twitter etc so keep your eye on the website, twitter, facebook page etc after the 3rd May.
