Thursday resale ticket here. 06:30 coach from Plymouth. Should be through the gates by 9 at the latest hopefully. Flying solo this year so not too concerned about finding a camping spot. Happy to pitch up on the outskirts which should be relatively straightforward with one tent. No return time on my email though so will have to dig into that.

I can confirm Slam Dunk North compared to South is a no go from this point on. Site was alone, Hatfield is just miles better. Ended up getting a ticket late on much cheaper and heading up. -
12.00 Thurs departure from Leeds. No return time given(!). Tickets booked in the resale. Latest I’ll have ever arrived at the festival so not ideal - bit concerned about finding a camping spot - but very glad to have a ticket having missed out last year!

Of all the ones I've been to, only 2016 stands out as being significantly negative. Ground conditions were awful. Took an age to get on site. Putting tents up in the rain. Brexit result. Plus it was the only one my ex ever attended and she was miserable as f**k, which put me on a downer. Then our tent got slashed, let water in and soaked my clothes. Then the airbed popped overnight Saturday morning and went down, none of the onsite camping shops had any. Went to watch Adele, saw 4-5 songs, thought it was sh*t so packed up and left Saturday night. Torrid stuff. TBF if my ex hadn't been with me I'd have probably toughed it out to the end and would have had a better time. She could be a real misery at times.
