Complete opposite case for me, been to Green Man the past 5 years but this years Green Man line up does nothing for me, whereas end of the road has always been tempting.. but now with David Byrne & St Vincent added, it is way too tempting.

I would prefer it if Green Man had bagged Sigur Ros & St Vincent & David Byrne.. but.. I think I will try out EOTR for the first time this year.

How does it compare? I've heard that there is not as much to do at EOTR?

Does it have as good late night entertainment? I will miss chai wallahs :(

It's funny, at Green Man there WAS more stuff going on late at night, though I've always had more fun late at night at End of the Road. Especially in recent years. The only problem with the disco in the woods is how busy it's gotten in recent years.

Some great additions it has to be said and I'm loving checking out the many I hadn't heard of before. One of the great pleasures of End of the Road announcements!

Can I put in a very early request that B&S and Jens Lekman don't clash!!

I'm really excited about the line up so far of EOTR last few years i've not been wowed with the line up but this year so far has wowed me...i always buy an early bird ticket no matter on who plays coz i think its the best festival around these days... i've held off with going to Greenman this year its a first in awhile of not going there as the line up hasn't jumped out for me and the past year or two hasn't either... but EOTR has always got something i like....

Well I seem to be in a minority, but this is quite possibly the worst line-up for EoR I have ever seen, each year in the past I have struggled trying to decide which band/artist to see as the choice has been good all day and everyday..... this year there are two acts all weekend I really want to see (John Murry & Caitlin Rose).... I kills me to say it and I already have the leave booked, but I won't be going, thank god I didn't buy a ticket as this is not for me, its a shocker of a line-up :(

I will be very surprised if they sell out this year.

    • The weekend in general has been amazing, but today was especially good.   The top three of Ice Nine Kills played, Bas Omens and Wntee Shakei, unsipable
