Play to piano

Like the ramjam video, I remember that from my youth and could never find out who it was till recently. Black Betty was the van that brought in the prisoners to the camps, like those where Ledbelly spent some time. I've mentioned it before, but I enjoyed reading the Alan Lomax book, The Land Where The Blues Began, and found this link to a film shot by him (http://www.folkstreams.net/film,109)

eFesters, the tinterweb has some right crap on it, but you've shown some pearlers in some of the previous posts, and other band threads which have pointed out some cracking music. Cheers.

Oystein Sevag, pianist in the vid has an album and title track called Link. I've tried to link this fella many times before but never found live to match the track. So I give in and give you something live as an alternative, in fact the only live footage that came up. Jazz with a little electro and didjeridoo for your pleasure on this one.

Øystein Sevåg (keys), Petter Wettre (sax), Andreas Bye (drums), Ole Marius Melhuus (bass) and Zotora Nygård (didjeridoo).

Edit, if you get as far as the end of the vid the one that auto follows on utube sounds really nice piano intro to a wonderful chillout track called visual. Worth wasting a minute or 2 on and maybe it'll catch a folk of two to listen on :)

Liked & agree with your comment up there Carlos and maybe if I'm lucky I put one or 2 things your way over the time.

link to flight. I've not gone back to Link Wray for a while, blimey, I remember this when we went to Edinburgh Festival to put on a play, at school. I tried to find a copy of the album but could only find a German import too pricey for my wallet at that time :-(

Flight to AIRPLANE

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tKtJ0XTwgTE

I've posted Jefferson Airplane stuff before but Grace Slick (sadly no longer performing) was spine tingling in her day.

Still touring as Jefferson Starship with most of the original members, including Paul Kantner, but with a new lead singer.

Could be GAS

Tommy Emmanuel, an astonishing Australian guitarist, now resident in Nashville.

The original is by Mason Williams but Tommy adds a bit more oomph.

CYANIDE

For those of you, who like me, gave up on Metallica after the first ten minutes and went to see something else, a chance to see what you missed.

I opted for Bryan Ferry as an alternative and saw a great set.

A diet pill is enough to make a FATBOY SLIM

Another alternative to Metallica last year and he seemed to connect with a lot of people, though I confess after about two minutes of this vid I've had enough.

It could have also been another link to Jefferson Airplane's White Rabbit (one pill makes you smaller etc.) but you've probably had enough of my Airplane enthusiasm for a bit.
