eFestivals
As your a big fan of his, any advice on What david byrne stuff I should listen to start with?of stuff under his own name, 'The Catherine Wheel', and 'My Life In The Bush Of Ghosts' with Eno. Those two are essential I reckon. There's highlights and lowlights in the rest of his own stuff, tho as a generalisation it's all more downbeat than those two and the TH stuff. eFestivals
Ah, shame. If it is a Uk festival exclusive, you'd think they'd avertise it as such mind!it makes me think that perhaps it isn't, and that there's a few more dates still to appear. ElGanzo
Just saw Waxahatchee has a new album out next week, would be a great addition! Last year's album was brilliant! And I recently saw a post from her on facebook asking about touring Europe so would definitely be a possibility!
riverlodge
I'd imagine the newest album with St Vincent would be your best bet, since it's the one the most stuff will be played from.
GeorgelogVIII
I was there....and I would have sworn blind Villagers weren't on the line up. This year I'm diligently checking out every band thoroughly to try and make sure I don't miss any nuggets.

Infinite Jest
So. Third announcement: Warpaint (interesting, not really my thing but I suspect they'll get a decent reaction) Dinosaur Jr (!!! great) Allo Darlin' The Staves Cass McCombs Birthday Girl Dawes Cayucas East India Youth Ethan Johns Leisure Society The Staves (Taken from Line of Best Fit, who seem to have jumped the gun on EOTR) Edited February 28, 2013 by Infinite Jest
shoebox
DINOSAUR JR, Y'ALL!
shoebox
Another strong set of bands. Proper excited about Dinosaur Jr, and you can never go wrong with Allo Darlin and The Leisure Society. Great stuff! Never really listened to Warpaint, didn't get on with Cass McCombs and the rest are all new to me.
Infinite Jest
Yeah, same for me on pretty much all counts. I think I've heard good things about Dawes, but couldn't swear to it. Really pleased about Dino Jr. I was considering getting tickets for their last tour and didn't, so this is a good chance to see 'em.

Nigey_boy
This line-up is getting as good as last years
wackojackohighcliffe
Leisure Society, Allo Darlin' and the Staves are all good, Dinosaur Jr is great (although surely bigger than Warpaint?!?)
Christophales
I was thinking this about DIno Jr. Don't really see how Warpaint are above both them and Frightened Rabbit on the bill. They must have a good negotiating team!

talulah
Dawes and Staves both excellent. Saw Ethan Johns (and Marika Hackman) the other night and they'll both go down well in the Tipi or on the Garden stage, I think. Line up's shaping up nicely and still more to come .... Fareham Grecian
That's a seriously good bunch of bands. Allo Darlin, Leisure Soc, Dawes, especially. Clashes are already the biggest worry. 48 bands announced now, and there were 85 last year so we may have another 35-40 acts to come!! Having said all that, I can sort of understand some people being disappointed - the 'beard & banjo' brigade seem much less in evidence. For me though the lineup is more varied than ever and deeply exciting. Bring it on!
