Ok, here`s my final answer on the 10. I`ve taken the liberty of puting them into the correct order to save the organisers any hassle. I`ll take my drams at the Sailor Jerry bar please and remember and get one for the ladies !

Friday :

Hot Chip

Alabama Shakes

Jake Bugg

Saturday :

Madness

Charlatans

Cast

Sunday : ( Tartan Day )

Franz Ferdinand

Primal Scream

Deacon Blue

I`m not sure what day Newton Faulkner will be on but he`ll be there and he completes my entry.

I'm not sure if franz would be classed as too big, they've really done very little in years, as far as I can remember they've never done arena tours and have just pottered around academy sized gigs rather than taking the next step. They've got a decent catalogue but I don't think theyre current enough to have priced themselves out of kendals pocket.

Wether or not they're actually touring or playing festivals next year is a different matter though !

Got the chance of going to see elbow in madchester tomorrow ........... But apart from one or 2 of their obvious tunes I'm no that much of a fan!

I watched a south bank show a few years ago and was a bit disturbed by their fans they all seemed to be a bunch of middle aged tree huggers having a spiritual moment watching them ........... Or even worse they were aroused !

Should I stay or should I go ............ You decide !

Go, don't even think about it. Whatever you think of them guy garvey is one of the most engaging lead singers with the audience you'll find. I've seen them 6 times now from the early days and loved them every time.

I do prefer the earlier stuff from asleep in the back and cast of thousands but I'd never turn the opportunity to see them down.

    • Completed my 2026 survey. Put down Super Furry Animals as my most wanted for next year but suspect the moment has gone for that. Popped a big shopping list in the box for who else you would like to see. 🙂
    • Blink-182 / Avril Lavigne / Good Charlotte / Neck Deep    Lamb of God / Malevolence      System Of A Down / Five Finger Death Punch / Skindred / Godsmack   Motionless In White / Poppy      Deftones / Gojira / Knocked Loose / President    Sabaton / Amon Amarth
    • This Isaac wood news has dropped right out of left field. Great to hear he feels up to doing live stuff again    what will he play? Solo stuff , old BCNR stuff?    It’s only in November , it’s a bold booking to for someone who has previously had some struggles to come back and play a load of new stuff to crowds that big
    • Wow, Blink-182 back so soon. They’re the band they’ve never booked then. Great booking if they’ve got them.    Deftones, Papa Roach, Knocked Loose   Lamb of God   Blink-182, Avril Lavigne, Good Charlotte   Megadeth   Slipknot, Gojira, Motionless In White   All Time Low
