I know it's probably already been discussed and dismissed .. But what about Daft Punk?

Would explain the delay as they haven't announced any dates other than a random farm in wee-waa in Austraila!

But I guess that would be too good to be true!

I think all of you should give up hope about it being someone like Rolling Stones/Daft Punk/Paul McCartney/Red Hot Chili Peppers and realise that it won't be anyone big, if there is any new headliner at all, they could easily push up Primal Scream. Remember that Benicassim has had lots of financial problems this year and therefore the line up has been compromised. Benicassim isn't as famous and big as festivals such as Glastonbury or Coachella so don't expect those kinds of bookings. Just be happy with the location and weather that you'll probably have and hope for The Prodigy.

for anybody interested in VIP tickets - I just bought 2 for friends off the guy selling them on ebay, arrived on Friday and seems all legit.

Paid £225 per ticket, worth the extra I reckon, especially if you missed out on the earlybird.

Rather spend my money on VIP than the villacamp

Out of interest by the way, How much money do you reckon you'll take / how much have you taken in the past

beni is going to be at the end of backpacking around spain for a couple of us, so i'd like to know how much i need to leave just for Beni.

Bare in mind we're talking essentials, so probably like sandwiches, no drink from inside the arena (just hitting lidls and boozing up in campsites)

At the risk of getting my head bitten off (again) I'd just like to say I'm holding out for Major Lazer being announced. New album out today and they're free and in Europe on Beni dates, would top it for me I think :)

I would agree with £2-300 but depends on how early you get to beni and when you leave, obviously if you arrive Monday you will spend more than if you arrive wed/thurs

50 a day is easily do'able

we must remember that the money issues were the mother company's problems , the reason Beni is on is because it is a profit maker , rather than compromise the chance of making money they going to hit us up big , bring on Daft Punk

    • After the sad news of William Orbits passing -   the production on this album is magnificent, especially as it was a risky departure sound wise from Blurs previous album   To me - my favourite Blur album - Strange News, Death Of A Party & Essex Dogs are under appreciated gems
    • RIP William Orbit.... https://youtu.be/eVdR2RfXGUw?is=TgwCLV2USTDSTVru
    • While i whole heartedly agree with both these statements on a personal preference level -     ive come to reluctantly accept that bland is always popular and il normally just show myself to the other stages where the better times are to be had during the Pyramid headliner slots.
    • Sun's out today. Can feel the hills calling. Time to ramp up the energy levels. I've been easing my way in gently the last 2 weeks with the likes of Hayley and Lael Neale and Cut Worms and Maria Somerville etc. Time to unleash some Shame, Mogwai, Place to Bury Strangers and especially Wednesday and Mannequin Pussy.  Also, just back from a brilliant night in Belfast at the Fleadh Ceoil so anything with a fiddle or a whistle or a squeeze box is drawing me like the Sirens. Madra Salach with the volume up. COME ON!!
