Out of all curiosity what did you listen to when everyone was going through a "pleb" stage?

Well it seems it was supposed to happen around early secondary school, at which point I listened to stuff like Muse, Foo Fighters, RHCP, Arctic Monkeys, Bloc Party, Editors, KOL, The White Stripes n stuff. Not all great stuff but at least it isn't MCR/FOB.

One time Black Holes and Revelations was playing in my family's car and they all wanted to skip Knights of Cydonia (this included my mum, dad and older brother) but it wasn't until I said that it was favourite song that they felt like they had to keep it on....also The Resistance was played a far bit and I know two people that think that The Resistance is the best album but each to their own

Pre Black Holes is brilliant to be fair and some stuff on after that is great, especially on Black Holes, but the naff stuff did being there....wait....Will....did you listen to naff Muse? If so that is even worse

Most rock music fans have the MCR/FOB/Black Veil Brides/BMTH/You Me At Six pleb stage

I still kinda like BMTH, but fucking hell I remember when I genuinely loved You Me At Six... dark days.

Expect Gerard ways solo stuff to be NOTHING like mcr. I think he's going to go an electro pop route. The only cover I can see him doing is planetary [GO!]

I've heard that the solo album apparently sounds like the Ramones

MCR were a great band; really had artistic ambition, put loads of effort in to their music videos and stage show, I think a lot of people don't give them the credit they're due

Also their first album is a brilliant post-hardcore record, up there with Relationship of Command and Worship and Tribute IMO

I love their first and last albums. Although it's technically 2 different bands they changed their sound that much. The 2 in between are balls though.

They were great at Leeds though, far better than they had any right to be.
