that I may be, but it's of more relevance to this debate than running a website

In the case of what you're commenting against, it's not - unless you've added both mind-warping and mind-reading to your claimed skills?

But oh, hang on ... you might have added those skills in your mind, but they're not working. What I meant with those words you've commented against is still the same as it ever was ...

...so your thoughts against my comment is of absolutely no relevance or accuracy.

Perhaps it was the same with Dow too?

It's fine...I know what I know and I'm happy to stand by my opinion. At least I'm capable of having an opinion that's based on some knowledge and dont resort immediately to juvenile name calling.

As I've said, it just may be that there is more to Peter than being a mentalist or a lunatic or any of the other terms people on here have used. You can accept that or not, but as usual when someone is expressing a view which you dont agree with, you resort to being abusive or just juvenile.

Can you translate some of that into English?

put simply: please stop inventing bollocks from nothing and trying to use it as proof that you're right.

Dow might be choosing to swerve challenging the assumptions in all directions that people here are making of him (and who can blame him?), but I'm not going to do so with the completely baseless assumptions you might wish to make around what I say and think.

:P

Contray to the experts presumptions it turns out I might have more real experience of the mentally ill... Other than pushing pens... But who knows...

As it turns out, I wouldn't be surprised if you do.

Your contributions here have at times showed a depth you rarely manage. :P

Does anyone feel we bully Barry Fish? There's quite a number of threads where there's large numbers of people (myself included) deriding his opinion and calling him things such as 'idiot' 'moron' 'nutjob', etc. yet there's never been the same accusations as in this thread regarding Peter. I appreciate noone's called for Barry to be banned, but I can't see much else different, apart from the Condi jokes.

With the greatest of respect to Mr Dow, he clearly has mental health issues and I'm not sure that repeatedly poking him with a metaphorical stick is either productive or good entertainment...in fact, to my mind, it's starting to feel a bit like some good old fashioned bullying....

I'd imagine he is made up that his views are getting such a wide audience and that people are taking the time and trouble to discuss this with him. It's not a gang of people calling him a tit, its a gang of people debating and pointing out the flaws in his ideas.

Far from bullying from what I can see.

Peter, do you feel we're bullying you, or are we just a load of ignoramuses who don't understand the true meaning of repulicanism, democracy and how awesome Condoleeza Rice is?

No, it takes someone in the campaign with some intelligence. I don't see George Bush having done much more than smile, wave, read a prepared script with some bumbling idiotic alterations.

    • My wife works for a music company, they have an allocation already.  They run a ballot for it early next year.
    • This is my guess too.    2028 festival breaks the £400 barrier.
    • Yeah I did spot that AXS had more available for the O2 shows Muse are doing, though I think that comes with the territory of AXS now being the venue's primary ticket selling platform.    My instinct remains they'll probably still play to a big crowd on the night - sales were similarly slow in 2023 but videos of those gigs showed the venue looking pretty much full. Equally it probably would be sold out if the pricing was even just slightly less ridiculous. Shave up to £50 off some of these categories and I think that would've got people to go with it.
    • Some are definitely already there with that and with another round of inflation looking like it's on the way, it certainly locks that in. And I say that as someone who also isn't willing to break the £100 marker.
