Sorry was meant to quote and reply ! Have been lurking on here a while now my husband and I have decided to bring breakfast and BBQs this year as it was a struggle in the morning watching everyone enjoying breakfast and coffee without walking haha ! Just wondered if you could recommend a decent disposable BBQ previous experience makes me doubt there is one !!! Can't believe it's tomorrow last year was my first time and it was brilliant been looking forward to this since I set off home from last year !

Does anyone know any more about Tim Burgess's Diner? I know he has a number of guests scheduled to perform butis it actually inside the diner (assuming that is a trailer-type thingy) or do you think there will be a performance area next to it? I'm really keen to see Edwyn Collins and Roddy Frame but doubt I will if I have to fight for one of forty places inside a trailer!

Been light rain here a mile from site, stopped now though thunder and lightening for Thursday afternoon , glorious Friday and Saturday, a couple of light showers Sunday and if you get in the mosh pit over the weekend I'm sure some one will give you a golden shower !

There are two - one on Thursday (not sure on time as I don't arrive until Friday) and the other on Friday at 2pm on the left hand side of the real ale tent, before decamping to see the MonoLPs, who are dedicating the set to the forum members!

Already spotted my first potential clash of the weekend. Two bands I'm desparate to see again:

Catfish and the Bottlemen - Saturday 8:45pm @ House Party

Victorian Dad - Saturday 9pm @ Riot Jazz

Half and half I reckon.

    • Tell me more. Last Latitude we went to was '21 - my son was young & had a wagon so we snuck good beers in that way. I remember there being some Brooklyn IPA on sale which was tolerable - are you saying they don't sell anything other than Carlsberg now?! 😳
    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
