I'm looking forward to catching tribes, they're on against dizzee rascal so I can imagine the calling out tent will be jumping for them. Saying that if they booked someone to break wind down a trombone whilst pelting the crowd with eggs it'd probably take preference over dizzee to me !

hopefully they'll roll out some of the other stage line ups soon as you would imagine that the cards gotta be taking shape by now. I think the line up that a majority of us want to see on here is the calling out stage, does anyone know if they've announced who's going to be 3rd headliner on it along with tribes and vintage trouble ?

One of the nights in riot jazz there's supposed to be a special guest. I do hope Vintage Trouble do another set in there.

I turned up there last year from the sailor jerry's stage when Riot Jazz band were playing. They were brilliant, could hear their set numerous times during the weekend throughout the site. Before then I'd never heard of Vintage Trouble, didn't even know they were playing. I found myself right at the front, ear literally to the speaker and it was one of the best crowds I've ever been in, so energetic for 1 in the morning too.

You're really a doom merchant with that forecast Jacko lol!!

The Olympic Sun Gods will be out in force, delivering 20c+ weather directly from Greece....it's going to be a cracking weekend with no need for wellies, jumpers, brollies or thermal long-johns.

Make sure you pack plenty of factor 10, a decent hat and sunglasses....the guys on site better make sure there are plenty of ice-cream vans (not the solitary one like last year between the main stage & the calling out stage)!!

:sarcastic:

I remember chatting to the taxi driver about the weather when we were on our way to Kendal for the first time. He goes 'We've got a saying round here...if you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes'. He was right...

    • Judging by last night at Wembley, Luke Combs should be in the conversation of headliner. The UK is having a moment with country music so I don't think it would be particularly left field either.
    • Just listed on Twickets
    • It feels really busy this year, loads of big groups of youngsters too. Slightly different vibe to previous years I've been. As with Tramlines, they're very chatty during sets and there's a constant stream of them in and out of the crowd... definitely feeling my age 😂   The Quarry stage I think is a lot smaller than previous years - seems similar size to Squid/Leadmill. Some sets have been difficult to get in.   I think I've reached my limit with mid-tier indie guitar bands. There's been quite a few this weekend where I've gone over to see them then walked away after 20 mins. Surprisingly, enjoyed the Fratellis set the most in this genre. Probably getting on for 20 years since I last saw them. Wasn't expecting them to do Yes Sir, I Can Boogie, which was fab!   Hugely enjoyed the Happy Mondays yesterday, and same but different with Radio Free Alice who I saw again on Friday, following Tramlines last weekend. A big run of pop acts today - Scissor Sisters will be fantastic!
    • I have a spare campervan pass to get rid of.  unable to use Kaboodle as it is only entry that they re-sell
