2012 lineup better than 2011

in 2007 they had DAFT PUNK, chemical brothers AND 2manydj's as their headliners.. I mean last year they had some alright stuff, including chemical brothers and boys noize but come on lets make 2012 worth while. Seriously, people still rave on about 2007's festival saying it was amazing. Try to get the best of the best... Daft Punk (if they are touring), Chemical Brothers, Soulwax, Underworld, DIM, Etienne De Crecy, Justice, etc.

In my eyes 2009 was the best line up overall. 2007 had the best headliners. This year was a good line up overall but had some awful headliners (Chemicals excluded obviously).

I think next years line up will be better than this years, no backing behind this, just a feeling. I would be very surprised if Justice don't turn up.

i reckon 2012 line up will be filled with dnb acts and dreadful dubstep. so this year am not buying my ticket till when the majority of the line up is announced. Hopefully there is some Banging techno on the line up thatll persuade me to buy my 2012 ticket

I only watched the first two acts and didn't wait to see the rest as I was already getting the dry boak. Two horrendous bands, but then it does seem it is heading to be another TITP so it wouldn't surprise me

Even when the headliners are shit, there's always plenty over the weekend to keep you entertained. Especially if you're only paying £99 for a ticket.

all this post says is that the festival will never be good unless daft punk come back (and if were all realistic about this its not gonna happen, T will grab them 100%)

almost everyone you listed to make the festival 'worthwhile' have already played, a few more than once!

The headliners this year were certainly not to everyones taste but that does not in any sense make them shit headliners (paolo turned out not that good but it was still a great shout of a booking)

Rockness has so much going for it, including the epic line up they put on EVERY year. But every year theres constant complaints.

If you want every big name you can think of, go to glasto, Rockness isnt that kind of festival. Its just as important to showcase amazing new talent as it is to bring in the big names.

You cant say that jim and the team dont put on a great weekend every year on what im guessing is a reallllllly tight budget with festivals getting cancelled all over the place!

anyone got any idea when the headliners will be getting announced? it was novermber last year so you can't put too much on it being far away. i'd say justice is a dead cert. best act of the weekend was erol alkan for me this year so hopefully they pull out the stops to get acts simular..
