Today I purchased:

18 crate of export cans

2 x 2 litre bottles of cider

8 x kronenbourg cans

6 litres of wine in boxes

4 x K cider

Just need to pick up some sort of spirit? Any suggestions?

What are all you Glasto goers taking alcoholwise?

I'm NOT taking the wonderfully convenient vodka pouch that Asda does, because they've been out of stock for weeks, hmph. One last try tomorrow before I have to go down the decant route. And remember to label the bottle so I don't mistake it for water first thing in the morning...

Apart from that, Brothers Strawberry & a box of Westons.

For me and missus

24 x 500ml Strongbow

24 x Brothers Pear Cider (festival strength)

12 x Bulmers Pear Cider

1 litre of Rhubard and Custard Vodka

1 litre of Rosey Apple Voda

1 litre of Whiskey

1.5litres of Martini

Will probably top up the cider cans with some more before we head off tomorrow.

2 x litres Smirnoff

1 x litre JD

1 x 3 litre box of wine

1 x crate of Koppaburg Pear Cider

I'm just buying my lager and cider as I wander around, or would have added crate of Stella or Kronenburg to that as well.

That's just between two of us.

About to go shopping now

Getting:

4 boxes of red wine (to decant and take on site each day)

4 bottles of slightly nicer red wine (for sitting at the caravan - again will decant as no glass!)

1 bottle of gin (and tonic)

1 bottle of Jameson

Due to having the luxury of a fridge in the caravan too im tempted to make some vodka jelly

My missus will be picking up her own drinks tomorrow before we head down as she is more of a beer drinker

    • My understanding is that the queues returning back to the UK will be much worse (up to two hours) but the queue entering Lisbon isn’t so bad. That’s just from reading a few forum posts about it though so take it with a pinch of salt!

    • World Cup 2026: What is happening with ticket prices? - BBC Sport   Sounds like Infantino has been learning from his buddy if he's running around claiming its all sold out while quietly dumping tickets below face on assorted secondary websites.
    • Mac DeMarco also cancelled
    • I'm British so it very much would apply for me.   I mean, it's a moot point as I don't have tickets so will not be in town for this, but I've heard reports of lengthy queues and given I remember Lisbon Airport having a long queue at arrivals even pre-EES when I went in 2023, I seem to guess it might be quite the wait, depending on flight paths.   Certainly, the worst I've had pre-EES was a 45 minute wait for a stamp at Valencia Airport in Spain, where 4 flights to non-EU destinations in quick succession were placed one after the other. So I can't say I'm enthusiastic about what's in store. Or you know. Maybe I'm just overthinking it.
