Why am I not excited?!?

Know what you mean, I'm a little slow to get excited this year, I think last year was such a stellar festival it will be hard to beat!

Plus there aren't that many headliners I really really must see this year compared to last year.

What is certain though, that when I get in the car for the drive up I will be buzzing with excitement!

:D

I'm alternating between excitement and stress because 1. I'll be singing in a choir on stage for the first time in over a decade the Saturday before Glasto and i'm bricking it, and 2. One of my cats is seriously ill (Hyperthyroidism and chronic renal failure) and he's not eating at the moment so I'm really worried about him :(

But hopefully those things will both be resolved soon so I can get back to the excitement...

3 x 8 hour shifts, spread over Wed - Sun, one in AM, one in PM and one overnight . . . Guarenteed to miss something you want to see, and you can't even camp within the festival boundary this year! However, its always a good fallback option when you don't get a ticket ;)

Oxfam stewards all camp outside the fence in 'Big Lickle' - a field just up the lane from Ped Gate C. We do get our own showers, bogs, canteen, and security there though, and can park pretty much right next to where we camp and pitch - very few areas left in and around the site where anyone can still do that I believe.

1. because it's going to rain

2. because there are no breathtakingly good bands playing this year

3. because each year the festival is worse than the year before, by some distance

4. because the clientele is now just the same as V/reading/T in the park etc.

5. because you touch yourself at night

Don't care if it rains

Not even bothered by the line up

And I touch myself all night every night BUT

Just love being there with my mates and consequently am so over excited!

Don't get me wrong, every other thought is about Glastonbury at the moment but I just don't seem to be getting that same tingle of amazing anticipation running down my spine every 5 seconds.

Maybe I'm just getting old or something...

If anyone could aid me in my endeavour to get ridiculously over excited that would be marvellous.

Led me to this, which was f**king brilliant

That does sum up 2010 nicely - no matter where you went, or how much fun you were having, that banshee Florence would turn up and start screeching You've Got The Love. Hlaf expected her to come on with Stevie
