I don't think it will be anyone big unfortunately cause if it was, they would be announcing it to sell tickets...or maybe the person can't be advertised for contractual reasons or something? I remember waiting about for ages outside the Soulwax tent on Sunday to see who the 'Special Guest' was and speaking to a security guard who thought it was Justice, but he said even they didnt know. Lots of excitement, then it turned out just to be Andy Mac  Wasn't too bothered though as I did want to see the Strokes.

I actually heard from a guy ages ago that Adam Beyer was meant to be playing, this was a couple of weeks before the big announcement. I saw no reason why the guy would lie to me and I honestly believe that he believed what he heard from a really good source at the time.

I don't really see it happening tbh, but if it did it would be cool.

T in the P can keep Deadmau5 cos he's f*cking garbage......and he doesn't play underground stuff - just w*nkcheddar crap music.

Like I've said before - Sub Club and Soma arenas all weekend for...apart from when the Chems are on! ;)

To be fair, this year is great for techno/ minimal fans.

I should really see what the line up feedback is on the slamboards... haha

I'm not really personally a fan of all that but i'll defo be seeing magda.

I also don't mind the likes of Raresh, Modeselektor, Matthew Dear, Jamie XX, Alex Under, Derrick Carter, Andrew Weatherall, DJ Shadow and obviously The Chems are a big deal for everyone.

Why, when the event is far from sold out, would the organisers keep a 'big name' hidden as a special guest?!

Those who think the Special Guest will be anybody of the size/pull of Deadmau5 are deluded beyond belief

Miniscule chance, but would love it to be The Music, seeing as they have now split and 2011 will be their last shows, Reading 2008 was the only time i have been able to see them and they were amazing. Would love one last gig, as wasn't able to get tickets to their farewell gigs in Leeds!

I was being facetious.

He has totally dropped off the face of the earth though. I mean, to come out with an album as good as Destroy Rock & Roll and be as popular and sought-after as he was, to just disappearing seemed a little weird to me.

    • Just watched Annie Lennox at Wilderness Festival as part of her global feminist The Circle initiative. She curated the 2 hour slot with special guests including Jessie Ware and then did  a 1/2 hour slot singing her and Eurythmics hits at the end. Her voice is amazing still and I am convinced she would do an amazing set on Sunday afternoon. She even wore a jacket with a sparkling CND symbol on the back! It’s a sign!!
    • 1. Jack White - Frozen Charlotte 2. Buffalo Traffic Jam - Pictures Of You 3. The Rolling Stones - Foreign Tongues
    • Is it one of those bollocks things where ones is a festival and the other would be a show lol
    • Hello,   I have no idea what the answer is to your question, but wish you well in your quest for information.
    • Yes, I was asking about comedy, and also it seems odd that after bringing it back last year, the Seaside Stage seems to have gone again. Probably why Massaoke (basically a big karaoke sing-along) is now on the Castle Stage. But on all three days?! Does all seem a little desperate this year, though hopefully I will be proved wrong. Still think the Mary Wallopers fiasco has probably put a lot of artists off performing at Victorious, hence the reduction in stages and acts appearing... One of the best things about Victorious in the early days was its value for money compared to some of the other bigger festivals, but this certainly not the case anymore...
