Stage Splits

What is the general consensus on the reasoning behind a not releasing the splits before putting day tickets on, and then waiting ages to do it? Is it anti-black Market?

It can't be about the crowds, because I feel the two headline acts on each day will get a certain type of person buying day tickets...which in my opinion considering the artists in question will bring in some....onteresting types?

Looking at the splits there are a few suprises to me!

Jessie J above example?

Chase and status Clashing with Dizzee and arctics! (Big clash for me)

Olly Murs (so high up?)

The Script above manics :(

NDubz on 4 music.

Other than that not many suprises!

For me personally I am shocked that razorlight and pendulum are below dizzy and primal scream

i like primal scream and i know they have a huge following. Im disappointed with that tho.

does anyone agree?

this year is going to need a lot of planning to get around i think.

think ill be in the bowtime tent alot!

What a disaster - Artics clash with Chase & Status, Glasvegas clash with Razorlight, Manics clash with B.A.D, looks like I,m gonna have to take my trainers 'cause there's gonna be some serious running between stages. And Cast are below Jessie J and Example- wots going on there !?! Not one stage where you can camp down for a few then move on, too much bloody pap idol music.

Why are The Courteeners so high?

Don't hear much of them on the radio since 2008, just the 2 albums & apparently poor live. They didn't even headline my uni summer ball. Are they a bit of a "V" band like Lostprophets?

    • Primavera refunding day tickets which are probably a negligible percentage of attendees yesterday.
    • Thursday day tickets being refunded. Fair play.
    • I’ve had a good sleep and I feel weirdly zen about the whole thing.   My first Primavera, so not the greatest first impression. I guess today couldn’t be any worse, right?   Thoroughly enjoyed Men I Trust and Geese. Cupra is a beautiful stage and the crowd seemed fun, friendly and engaged.   I think it probably could have gone even worse, considering how dangerous the crowding felt at times.   Anyway, we go again.
    • Brighton centre is a weird old venue for the Mary Wallopers - a great band, a really good live spectacle, and its a saturday night as well which sets it all up - but its at the bloody Centre? a charmless nonsense of a conference centre? Brighton dome is a ten min walk away and is so much nicer a place to see bands its ridiculous!    ah well, i'll probably mosy along anyways . . .
    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
