Line-up Disappointment

Weather the line up is good or not you still have the chance to have an amazing time. There isn't just the music to explore which is what separates Glastonbury from many festivals, if you don't like the line up at Reading say (it's not brilliant in my opinion) there is nothing else for you to do. But at Glastonbury you are a bit spoilt for choice.

Sometimes I wish I liked the line up less so I could look around more...

Glastonbury doesn't have many big acts I love this year but look around find some smaller acts. Yes the Pyramid apart from a few is a bit shit(Even saying that, if you look at where its good its bloody sublime!).

Besides just chilling at West Holts with a Brothers cider is one of the best ways to enjoy Glasto :D

I was actually genuinely surprised that Arcade Fire isn't playing.. I assumed they would considering they released their new album last year, and a lot of the time that means the band will play Glasto. Just look at Grizzly Bear and Vampire Weekend last year..

Just split your time between the smaller stages, and open your ears/mind.

Spend your first 12 hours on Friday doing this :

Avalon > West Holts > Croissant > Avalon > West Holts > Acoustic > Pyramid > JP > Other > Glade > 71 > Avalon > West Holts > 71

Regardless of who is on.

Don't even look.

If your not too fussed about the line, this will be a voyage of discovery.

a: glastonbury is superb

b: the line ups do have a slightly underwhelming property to them, this is my tenth, there is loads to do but nothing screaming at me,

c: there are always people who act like glasto is the bee all and end all and criticism of any sort isnt possible

d: ill certainly still always try to go but rarely for the line up

2002 was one of my best years I've had there and the line-up was poor then in my opinion. The line-up being poor for someone only becomes a problem in years like 07 when the weather is awful.
