I am really looking forward to seeing these this year. I Missed them in 2008? My first year in 2009, caught Allison with Dead weather last year. She is really THE rock chick goddess! I am loving their new album and the sets going to be rocking. I might even try to scramble near to the

front ( which i don't normally do) especially to catch some sexyness from Miss Mosshart! It could be a nail in my coffin, and i don't need another one! :P

have universally agreed with the bloke that neither of us would kick her out of bed!!

bloody brilliant up the park in 09 and storming set pyramid '10 with dead weather. Been looking at the lineup and Friday and Saturday are clash hell for us but think I have managed to persuade him to sack off qotsa now on Sunday night and come and watch the streets with me instead!

Same here.

Think the new album is actually there best aswell.

I'm going to see them in Manchester at the end of May and from what I gather it's a small venue which is good.

They do clash with someone I'd like to see at Glastonbury (can't remember who now) but that band has already been decided to be sacrificed.

I did prefer Dead Weather on the Park to the Pyramid

though, so hopefully the crowd on the Other Stage will be pretty good. Would have preffered them to be headlining the Park or high up on the John Peel ideally.

  • 4 weeks later...

Just got back from seeing them in Manchester and they were brilliant.

Was a really small venue so proper intimate (Manchester Methodist Hall was venue).

Love the new album and think basically the set rounded off with a best of, from the older albums was really strong (never got massively into the first 3 albums originally).

Obviously won't be as good on a big stage in the daytime with a crowd that won't know much, but they'll put in a good high energy performance. I'll definately be there :D

    • Very different in terms of time of game,  yet remember how excited I was before the first game in Euro 2016 having grown up not sure I would ever see wales in an international tournament. That day scraped a win against Slovakia and was just happy to see wales score and win at a tournament, little did I know we would finish in the top 4. Hope Scottish fans get the same experience.

    • I don't think I'm alone as a Scotland fan that there is no way that I could possibly fall asleep knowing we're about to play our first World Cup game in 28 years! Pure adrenaline is keeping me wide awake (and plenty of rum)!
    • Trying to stay awake for the footy so it’s just the easy option of a battery😊😉
