This year the excitement is building more than last year. I went on my own last year, and, although excited, there was that edge of aprehension about it. This year I am taking a crowd with me, mostly Glasto virgins, and they are very excited about it. Everywhere I go I seem to end up finding someone to Glastobate with too.

I even managed to Glastobate whilst an extra in a zombie film (Zombie-Hood), as they were recording the background crowd noise, am hoping that when the film is released people can just about hear me talking about the best place in the world.

I'm an utter nightmare, my wife pulls that " not again " face all the time as I bore her to death with the slightest update/ change. She's as exited as me for the time to fly in so I can f@&k off and get it out my system!!

Since getting tickets in the resale it's all I seem to talk about. I'm writing lists and buying little bits and bobs to get organised, even though its still weeks away!

Also, and this is quite sad, I've worked out that week 43 in work is Glastonbury week, so I've written out whatever I can up to week 43 so everytime a new week passes I can see how much closer it's getting! ^_^

Im a geek, I know... :P

I am glad to see that there are other like-minded people who think about Glastonbury all the time. Its so addictive! I drive people crazy going on about it, but it is really is brilliant!

I remember the first time I went and I got talking to an old couple. They asked me if it was my first (which was obvious by my delightment), I said that it was something that I wanted to try out once and then I can say that I have been. They said that they once said that the fist time they came thirty years ago! The reason that I think its so hard to get tickets is that anybody who has been would want to go back every year!

I used to be awful as I didn't know enough people around me going but now I have friends going who are equally excited so we just have little moments all the time where we get REALLY excited. It gets worse at parties after a drink, the other night someone who is playing came up in the music and me and my mate just started freaking out with excitement and planning everything haha

With exams coming up, symbolising the end of sixth form and school and a-levels I find myself drifting off into little day dreams of excitement, it doesn't help when I come home and my dad starts playing clips of U2

Glastobating  I like it.

Actually I think it's down to the weather. All this sun is getting excited and it can't go on as I am going blow a fuse. Need to chill and think of something else for a change.

The rain is coming so that might dampen my enthusiasm somewhat.

For various reasons I didn't buy my ticket until yesterday so I'm now trying to fit 8 months of excitement into one month....I might just explode! I've had butterflies all day and I've really not done any work, just read these boards (which I'd been avoiding obviously) and looked at photos of Glastonbury.

42 days and 16 hours to go!! :D

I think I've inadvertently carved a new neural pathway in my brain especially for glastonbury.

With every waking thought I have its there in the background, unceasing and alert and trying to make this thought somehow related to glastonbury. Any insight, music, scrap of information gets put through the glasto filter. At times I'm worried that I'm tapped in the head but then I reassure myself that I'm just a specialist who likes to prepare mentally

I just smiled as I thought on this and got one them 'not again' looks from the missus
