One way coach tickets..

I'm going in a car but a lad I know from London and another old uni mate who also lives there got tickets in the resale on Sunday, yet the coach ticket is only for the outward journey on the thursday....what are they doing about the return? Are GFL just saying "make your own way home" are they allowed to be doing this ?? Seems very odd unless I've missed something along the way.

Another mate got a coach ticket from our home town of Oxford in the resale, so out of the 30 of us going together he's the only one who's going a day later as the coach ticket is for the thursday...no wednesday option, and there wasn't one even when the first batch of tickets were on sale apprently.

Perhaps GFL are trying to stagger the crowds coming into the site this year after last yrs manic chaos on Weds AM (I know the England match played a part in that)

It does seem odd not to have the option of a return journey, because on ordinary Glastonbury coach tickets (the ones without a festival ticket attached), there is no option not to have a return journey.

My mum will be joining us by coach on the Friday, but coming back in the car with us, so she only wants a one way ticket, but has to buy a return!

I think the Monday coaches are a bit haphazard - you just turn up and no-one cares which one you get on. I think this will be why your friend has a time for the journey there, but not for the journey back. He'll probably be able to find a coach to bring him back tho.

all of my mates had no option but to buy one way coach tickets on sunday, and they're definitely one way only! Does anyone know if its possible to buy return tickets on the monday? They're all a bit confused about how to get home, and we can only fit one of them in the car!

There was the option of return coach tickets when I brought mine. But I selected one way coach. And am going to get the train on the way back.

The return coach tickets must have sold out when you got to the ticket booking page, hence only one way coach tickets were selectable.

You can get a one-way ticket home. Just go the National Express home page rather than the Glastonbury page, you can select Glastonbury festival as your departure point.

    • Geese playing for 1:20 instead of just an hour was a lovely surprise. The energy was great!
    • Oh well that's why then, I assumed it was still the same. Thanks!
