The point is, there's always one bigger name, every year. This year to add to that, the special guests slots are later, to split the crowd more. So to split the crowd, they must be someone big enough to take a lot of crowd. Admittedly i'd rule out certain people, but the only thing I can see ruling AF out, is the actual size of the band. Nothing stopping a couple of them doing it though.

My two predictions currently would probably be Pulp and James.

whilst I agree with everything you have said, how do you explain the thom and jonny show last year? just as big an appeal as AF but it still happened...

It was kept super secret til the day, while a lot did know about it, just as many people didn't and those who did hear probs doubted due to hype built up around the slot in previous years. Point being there is going to be loads more people keeping a closer eye on themm slots and risking it this year and I think Glastonbury will be mindful of it.

Reckon Beady Eye is a shoe-in for one slot, and kanye/Jay-z for the other.... the park is her area and she does love a rapper... or possibly gaga, she collaborated with bouncy on 'telephone' so the odds of her being there anyway?
