I'm going to Glastonbury with my mates and my girlfiend's going with her mates. We'll be camped in different places and will probably meet up for the odd drink/band. Moral of the story? Get tickets for her friends too... By the way she sounds like a massive sheet of cling film.

Tommy, here's what you do. Ticket day, get up just after 9. Sit at the puter BE SEEN to be sitting at it. If she's watching, show her how hard it is just getting through, it'll take forever. She'll probably bugger off and leave it in your capable and when she does, do nothing! If you get on the queue, don't go pressing f5, let the system do the work. You won't get a ticket. It'll sell out by 10.30 but hey, you tried!

Yay. That's what I like to hear. Would be different if your partner didnt want to go, but you do that's one thing, but if thet're asking you to get tickets and you really cant be arsed, hmmmmmmm, and dont give the excuse it's an ecsape for 3 days, as someone else said, go, have seperate mates and meet up occasionaly. If it was the other way round, she had a ticket but couldnt be bothered to sort you out, how warm and loved would you feel? Not warm enough to offer her the good chocolate out a tin of roses I'll wager.

im hoping to get tickets in the resale for me and the missus this year. should work fine as her mates are going, some of mine are going....hang about with her for a few bands etc. (shes a festival virgin, im a festival slut) so ill keep an eye on her and make sure shes enjoying herself but ill get to see all the acts i want, likewise with her and plus, the nights will be so much more joyable than a cold tent and a lonley w*nk in the dark
