I managed to get everything entered & done but I haven't received a confirmation email. I can't check my hotmail at work & my BlackBerry is buggered. I just a page saying "Success: AUTHORISED"

Am I good to go? Or does that just mean my card details have been taken?

My MD at work immediately got an email asking for him to send off a reference to Oxfam so he knows I've not been working!

I applied, after the last screen it said something was wrong but then i got the 2 emails confirming everything, and i looked at my bank online and the money has been taken so... looks like it's worked.

So excited now!

My money hasn't come out but it normally takes NatWest three or more days to ever do anything/show up on my online banking. Is it possible to check any other way other than going into my email account (my hotmail is blocked).

Can someone help me? Want to work at Latitude and Bestival (I'll do Glasto with my ticket!)

Completed my application at 12.20 today only to be told there were no places for all 13 festivals and to select the waiting list option so I did. I paid the deposit, selected the training course and received both emails (with no festivals listed).

Now they are saying applications re-open tomorrow at 11am and there are exactly 100 places available for each festival (which I think is an error as some festivals had less than 100 places to begin with when I looked before the applications opened this morning!)

have a look here:

http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2211928194

basically, look at the confirmation email (not the payment one) and it should list all the festivals youve signed up to. If they are there (and u got the payment one too) then your in :) if theyre not listed you might have to give them a call or try again tommoro.

There was an error in the servers, and also some people ended up paying even though they were only put on the waiting list (if they were a bit late)

No Latitude for me (and no Glasto for many others) due to Oxfam not announcing when the applications would be open, I was ready at 9am yesterday before I started work but the website crashed and I could not get to a computer between 11.30 - 12.15 and when I did it was to late.

I feel sad that equal opportunities for applications were ignored :'-( My friend who was going to go with me will now have to cancel or go on her own
