So i'm on their mailing list, and they're starting to release new stuff and also in one e-mail said they'd be playing festivals this year but they haven't been announced for Download/ Sonisphere. Would love to see them on the main stage somewhere, not sure if they're still big enough to sub, views?

Would be good to see them back this year with a new album out this summer. Were brilliant last year at 2000 Trees.

Would be nice to see them early in the day on the mainstage & they would probably get a bit more attention now that they aren't playing year in year out. I'm going for early Friday (Reading) to get the ball rolling nicely. Another band I was wondering about but didn't merit worthy of their own thread are Maximo Park, do they still have any relevance to the world & would any of you guys care if they played?

First album was fantastic, the second mediocre at best and the less said about the 3rd the better. If they played they wouldn't go as high as they did in 09. Would slip down to about 4th/5th but tbh I can't see them playing this year anyway.

My mates would love this. They always seem to get a half decent crowd. They were the first festival band I ever saw at Reading '05. I've met Billy, he's a bit boring, but a nice bloke.

they have just announced a small uk tour in june so should be around

I love this band. They are playing a show near me so will see them then. Reading would be cool too though

So pissed off that they didn't announce a small Brighton show, or just a London one But I think they'll 100% play Reading, they keep mentioning that they're festivalling this summer, and haven't announced any yet, Reading's there favourite festival as mentioned by them in various interviews... so yeah... looking forward to see them

They are doing the Buffalo Bar in Islington on the 4th April, but you have to be a pledger on their website. It will set you back 30 quid too for a ticket!

Subways did a mid Main Stage slot in 2008. They'd be better in the NME i think.

Also they need to turn the bass down a bit next time so it doesnt melt people's internal ograns and drown out the lead guitar and the vocals.

I really hope they're there this year, one of the highlights of Reading 2008 in my opinion. They were ace!
