I definately wouldn't give kasabian enough credit to headline, especially up against muse and it'd be mike skinners last festival season probably so he'd definately deserve a 3rd slot, if not he'll be NME headliner.

There is no way Kasabian will sub.No way on earth.I don't care what you say about accepting it because of how big Muse are. It's complete bollocks.Kasbian live has been wowing people for awhile and they want to be considered as headliners, this has been well documented, which I think they can now be considered.

Why have you started this thread anyway?

Yeah but melvin prefers exclusive headliners, he's more slack when it comes to sub's, mcr for example are probably subbing at T/Nme headliners and he's probably got loadsssss of money as per usual this year, if they were offered enough, they'd definately take it

How is it baseless? The libs were definately swayed to play when talks of £2million were floating around, they were probably the second highest paid act last year and they didn't headline...

And muse have been wowing people for longer? I'd bet my house on muse headlining over kasabian year in year out, and i started it to get other people's perspectives so it's obviously worked :)

:) It looks that way doesn't it?

Kasabian have moved up to headline status, they would not play below anyone in the uk on a festival bill these days.

You could say that Metallica have been wowing audiences longer than Muse/Green Day/Foo Fighters but you wouldnt see any of them playing second fiddle at a festival.

    • Primavera refunding day tickets which are probably a negligible percentage of attendees yesterday.
    • Thursday day tickets being refunded. Fair play.
    • I’ve had a good sleep and I feel weirdly zen about the whole thing.   My first Primavera, so not the greatest first impression. I guess today couldn’t be any worse, right?   Thoroughly enjoyed Men I Trust and Geese. Cupra is a beautiful stage and the crowd seemed fun, friendly and engaged.   I think it probably could have gone even worse, considering how dangerous the crowding felt at times.   Anyway, we go again.
    • Brighton centre is a weird old venue for the Mary Wallopers - a great band, a really good live spectacle, and its a saturday night as well which sets it all up - but its at the bloody Centre? a charmless nonsense of a conference centre? Brighton dome is a ten min walk away and is so much nicer a place to see bands its ridiculous!    ah well, i'll probably mosy along anyways . . .
    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
