Really enjoyed Womad. Lots of different music, lovely site and weather no litter. Last minute decision to go and didn't regret it. Small compared to Glasto (but what isn't)not so frantic but enjoyable in a relaxing kind of way.

So you 3 [above]...you all joined this site in the first quarter of 2003, you all have relatively low post numbers [between 199 and 370 posts] and you all went to Womad for the first time...hmmmm....very suspicious...

We have still to make it down to the new site. Will get there one day, Womad was always a lovely festival!!

Did they ever replace the Whirl-y-gig later night time global dance music thing??

This was our third time and we had a brilliant festival.

Such a beautiful site - very well organised and such diverse music and things to see and do.

It was very relaxing after a busy Glastonbury festival - lovely to be able to get between stages so easily and see a lot of new music. Highlights were Bellowhead on Thursday, Alabama 3, Gogol Bordello,Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Booker T Jones, Nidi D'Arac and The Communicators.

Can't wait for next year - the 30th anniversary of WOMAD.

Best WOMAD since it moved, a vintage year - one of my best yeras there, finding all the ciders on sale by the Siam made my weekend.

I think Womad is one of the best I've been to. Apart from Glastonbury which are your other favourites?

it's only really Glastonbury and Womad that float my boat on a high tide ... the rest have me stuck in the tidal mud on occasions.
