We're doing Glastonbury and KC this year - rather bizarrely I'm getting more excited about KC and that line up. I think it's to do with it being more manageable and half an hour from home, it feels more accessible somehow :). Blondie to headline Sunday is right up my street, cracking singalong to end the weekend. I'm easily pleased.

i think blondie will appeal more to the older crowd, although a lot of their songs are still played all over today, and appearing on the bairns just dance wii game will help me persuade her to come along and watch her !

i've never had the chance to catch them live but ive got a few cd's in the house, an the opportunity to bounce around to atomic and call me appeals. i am however in the slightly over 40 bracket !

looking forward to finally getting some more definates, amuses me when people on fb are asking for the kings of leon, arcade fire and katy perry. Deluded ! they can ask but theres no chance in hell, can imagine we'll get bands like the cribs, courteeners and hot chip

Kings of Leon? - haha - well, I suppose there's no harm in asking! ;) Is tomorrow's announcement just a confirmation of Blondie - or are well going to learn about some other confirmations?

i would imagine they will name a few more bands than just blondie, blondie has been known for around 6 days now, the KC people tried to cover it up at first but too many people mentioned it so its pretty much common knowledge, would imagine theyll probably name the headliners and a few others, if they just name blondie i can imagine the hail of abuse theyll get !

I dunno - maybe an enticing selection of undercard? I'm still amazed that The Levellers aren't headliners! ;)

Imagine that will be Chase and Status friday headliner, Cribs Saturday and Blondie Sunday. Thats perfectly acceptable, I am going to spend all Saturday night screaming for Hand in Glove though.. I know last year there was a strong rumour of a La's reunion on the Calling Out stage on the Sunday, so I'll be looking for Morrissey lookalikes all weekend. Looking forward to the Calling Out announcements now to see how many double bookings I've got, then its just the big long wait till the end of July.

Whats people opinions then ? seemed to be mixed reaction on fb, students and young uns seem more than happy, others are less so. I dont go to a specific festival for the bands to start with and im much more in to rock/indie and acoustic. The headliners im not that fussed about will give me an opportunity to visit some of the other stages where im sure i'll find something i do enjoy

We're also happy with The Cribs. Had to look Chase & Status up on Wikipedia - probably not our thing, I'd say  Never mind, there's more than one stage - and I'm assuming there's still a few more announcements to be made ;)

That lineup is very very crap.

Its a shame theyve gone from last years headliners to such a bad set this time. I was looking forward to getting a ticket for this as well but now I aint gonna bother.

Not impressed at all.

    • Yep.   The fact that the festival felt the need to fudge the name like that suggests that they see it as a way to showcase solo legends, and on that basis INABS holds true - until it doesn't for whatever reason.
    • Would love to have Marina Herlop for the Auditori (new albun out soon, local act, played both weekends in 2022)
    • I do agree to a point and I will just not buy tickets for some things now cos I know there’s a good chance I’ll get some cheap.   also think the quality of a lot of the artists around is just quite poor at the moment, either touring albums from 20 years ago or poorly received  albums    then also this trend of doing 7 shows at one location, people are tired of travelling and there’ll always be spares close to the time
