Right, okay. I'd advise you stop saying these are confirmations, because trust me, they aren't

Here's a little anecdote to explain.

2009, NME Headliner warm up and hype. We all speculated, and had ideas. Well, somebody I know very well is a photographer, and asked the firm who deal with photography at Reading who was going to be announced. Why wouldn't we believe this person, they're direct to Festival Republic, right? Well, they told us it was The Offspring. Clearly wrong in retrospect, but I was assured of this by them. That's when I had to ask myself - how do you know? And you know what? I couldn't answer. There's no reason for these people to know; hell, Zane Lowe didn't get told who the acts playing were till about 10 minutes before his show started last year, I've been told.

There's no reason for anyone outside booking to know anything. Non-disclosure agreements and embargos exist within Festival Republic and they do get chased up. You have no answers, and you are as clueless as the rest of us.
