Last time blink played before last years 2003. Next time 2010. Didn't do much in between. ie in terms of get bigger.

Went from a sub spot to a massive headlining spot.

People are wanting Transplants, it doesn't matter where they played last and what htey have done since then, the hype is on and that would mean they would only play Main stages as TOO many people would want to see them

OKB Have you even listened to transplants, Transplants and Blink are pretty similar, and your whole arguement is flawed to hell.

Anyway...

I went to Reading 2005 when they were booked, didn't they pull out really close to the festival, they were booked to play Main Stage at Reading but Lock up at Leeds, think it was cus they were flying in and out the country real quick but think they pulled out so they could do the MTV awards, think Yellowcard did the same year too.

  • 2 weeks later...

transplants are essentially just a pop punk band with a more girtty image and attitude. they have pop sensibilities in the songs as well as 3 chord DIY song structure.

That OKB is ridiculous, clearly knows nothing about anything.

Here's a shovel mate, your gunna need it as your digging a hole.

    • Not necessarily but it should be, Download have a habit of messing it uo when others get the bookings on point. Good Charlotte I doubt are playing 3rd down and that too 3 that day while dreamy is too strong. I think you'd have one another day to help sell weekend tickets. I also doubt Papa Roach play.

They'd be better off playing somewhere like Other sub, but I could see the G getting them to play a smaller stage while it's still possible
    • Another Kraftwerk one for me today, as just back from seeing them.
    • Completed my 2026 survey. Put down Super Furry Animals as my most wanted for next year but suspect the moment has gone for that. Popped a big shopping list in the box for who else you would like to see. 🙂
    • Blink-182 / Avril Lavigne / Good Charlotte / Neck Deep    Lamb of God / Malevolence      System Of A Down / Five Finger Death Punch / Skindred / Godsmack   Motionless In White / Poppy      Deftones / Gojira / Knocked Loose / President    Sabaton / Amon Amarth
