So a little over 3 years ago in a field in Chichester my life changed. I met the women who would change my life for ever. A women who lived in Scotland while I lived in Nottingham a 600ish mile round trip, that for the next 8 months we would embark on every weekend (bar one). Then on the weekend of Glastonbury 07 (the only Glasto up until that time I had missed since 95)she moved down with her son to come live with me and the next chapter of our life began. Now I am due to get married tomorrow to this women who I love more than anything in my life.

On top of this some of the most important and fantastic people I have the honor to call my friends are coming to celebrate this event with me and you know what the vast majority of them come from this very site and I some of them even do me the honor of allowing me to call them my festival family.

Theres a lot of crap that gets posted on this site, petty squabbles, name calling and down right rudeness from all levels some by people I call my friends. At times this place frustrates me but one thing I am certain of and that is that without this site my life would not be as good as it is now.

My fiancée, my festie family and festie friends I raise a huge glass to you all, I owe you all a great deal and am so grateful for what I have gained from you all being in my life.

And finally another toast to Neil without you I would not have what I have now. You provide a great service to us all and I am in your debt next time I see you I most defiantly owe you a drink.

Love you all

Ian x

Again, many congratulations to you both, and hope everyone going has a fantastic time!

Looking forward to seeing the photos of everyone glammed up on FB and here! :)

I'll be thinking of you all when I'm sat at home working. :(

    • Wednesday is a nice addition imo
    • Kronenberg in a tent as well IIRC but Brooklyn Pilsner was easier to get without queueing and was everywhere across the festival.
    • I think they'll end up doing something due to pressure and bad PR. Maybe they do a discount code for next year or bar credit or something along those lines.    I agree though. I acknowledge that the lineup is huge but surely you can't cancel 33% of the headliners and not reimburse in some way. Their insurance will probably cover their fees for MA, Doja, Bad Gyal and Mac DeMarco due to force majeure.
    • Looks like nothing for weekend ticket holders. You'd expect a goodwill gesture.
    • Enough has been covered about how much of a sh*t show that was, so I'll just say, Massive Attack and it's relationship with this festival (and potentially me) are f**king cursed.    They were announced in 2020 when I first got excited about seeing them. They were subsequently on the poster for 21, 22 and now 26. This time I was in actually in the crowd close to the stage waiting for them twice haha. I give up!
