Tell us the Headliners already!

Patiently? If you're are begging to know already then that's a million miles short of waiting patiently.. We're only about a week removed from Ticket Day.

As far as I know or can remember, the headliners have never been announced anywhere near this early - I think that U2 for 2010 was by some distance the earliest announcement ever, and the only time so far that a headliner has been announced more than about 5-6 months in advance. Even that was mid to late November, so we're a fair few weeks off.

Besides which, if they announced them all now it'd kill half the fun of speculation and rumours.

I know lol, being patient isnt my strong point. Its just that artical in nme about Eavis announcing headliners once all tickets were sold! We can all hope :P

the problem there is that you you've believed a lying bullshitting mag that has a big problem recognising what is fact and what is their own invented fantasy.

I'm never really that bothered about headliners, I don't like THAT many bands which would be considered headline material. I just thrive on looking through the lower stages and being all "OMG, I didn't expect ***** to play". I remember the 09 line up was released while I was in Nandos and I was spitting my food out everywhere screaming about certain unexpected announcements.

it's the unexpected acts that make Glasto - after all, we all know that just about every flavour-of-the-month act will be there (and every other major fest), but that unlike every other major fest they'll also have some fantastic surprises.

Snoop Dogg and The Flaming Lips were massive surprises for me last year, even though they were heavily rumoured beforehand, I still wasn't confident about them playing. Was SO happy when I saw them on the official line up.

In a way I wish rumours didn't happen and everything was kept COMPLETELY under wraps, it'd be nice for a festival announcement to come through where the entire line up was a complete breath of fresh air.

    • Hezbollah rejected it. Really Israel should get the f**k out, and US and others should support the Lebanese govt in defeating Hezbollah.
