well considering all this week was forecast heavy rain up here in newcastle, it has been blazing hot today and yesterday, therefore i will carry on doing my sun dance with my pint of cider in hope that it will work for glasto too

Are we all pretending that the Met Office forecast didn't happen (i have visions of 1997 and trying to put tents up in wind and rain) or is it really all still to play for? Please say the latter, I don't do blind optimism! But still NFR NFC

The heavy rain towards the end of this week doesn't look good. This could be one for the wellingtons.

Why is this Met Office forecast such bad news? Although it suggests that there may well be showers/rain at times, it also suggests will be far from dominant and their will be sunny spells too. The weather in Somerset often reflects the weather in the South East much more than the weather in the West of the country..

Met Office don't do proper updates until 5 days out. When they do, they still do proper charts though:
