I spent £15 on a pimpin' tent fan yesterday, because I can't be doing with the tent oven situation again. That's my contribution to the definite scorcher that we're all in for.

NFRNFC and all that ;)

THE R word doesn't actually bother me that much - as long as I'm prepared! Does anyone know when JACKONE's weather is released next?

Below is from the model forecast's discussion forum over on netweather:

Posted from one of the site's forecasters I believe:

Honestly, looking over the current model outputs and comparing them with last year's, there are a lot of similarities and I think if we do get a build of pressure to the south and east once the westerlies start to gather pace around mid-month, we could still rival or even beat last year's June for warmth, sun and dryness.

Gingers beware

Today I've reached that point where I start to set in stone my plan for Glastonbury. Its also the time I start spending more time looking at the weather, and on the Forum in general. Its unfortunate as my last exam is on Friday. But I frankly don't care, GIVE ME HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT GLASTONBURY B)

i had a read of jackones last year around this time last night, very similar forecasts were predicted with rain and unsettled weather and we all know how it actually turned out!

ive no idea about forecasting ,but this id how i look at it..

its like betting on a football match, you have some information and so you can come up with a likely outcome, even with that in place you could still end up with blackpool beating machester utd even tho the information you have says the opposite

hmm, that made no sense, oh well!

its gonna be sunny!

    • Another one from Sheffield DocFest this weekend, Earth Wind & Fire docu, directed by Questlove. Sensational archive footage, contributions from band members, family, plus a lot of very big fans (Stevie, Lionel, Flea, the Obamas) and a warts n all assessment of the genius / flawed human being that was Maurice White. Also, I never realised he started out as a jazz drummer with Ramsay Lewis. Well worth a watch.
    • In a 6,800-word Substack essay, external, the Clacton MP said "anti-white racism was embedded into the state", and that legislation aimed at equality was a form of "social cleansing"   .https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cdjkd4mp93zo   The privileged white c**t hasn’t got a clue what racism is.

    • Got HBO Max to watch football so watched One Battle After Another which is a great film and deserves its awards and then rewatched Magnolia and that is a flipping amazing film...so much in it. (also rewatching Angels In America series which is also amazing).
