Seetickets queuing system

Seetickets queuing system needs to be sorted out. No doubt there are still loads of efesters trying to get tickets and still not even getting the 'in a queue' page. None of my friends have got that far today, but somehow I have. I have so far brought 20 tickets and still trying to get more for friendswho have been trying since 8.30.

yeah tell me about it. Weve been online since before 9 and never even got a sniff but a friend has now managed to get em for us and he's booked a total of 15. Still just gotta wait for the confirmation now!!!!!

I spent 2 hours trying to get through with safari, no luck, then tried another laptop with internet explorer and got through in 5 mins. Don't know if there's a link or if it was just fluke ...

well, it was harder to get on efest than SEE! great success - 27 tickets bought, including 4 for the lovely Ivan on here.

Wasted an hour using Firefox, switched to Google Chrome, had my ticket within 5 minutes and then went on to call around friends and place a dozen more orders overall. For those still trying, use Chrome. You'll go into the queue but whilst Firefox eventually times out Chrome seems to manage it properly and you will get through.

Certainly is a strange queue. I started trying around 10 and got through to booking page almost straight away. My friend had been trying since before 9 and got nowhere. I managed to then get through to booking page another three times to get other ppl tickets.

I spent 3 hours this morning trying to get through and failed misserably. Gave up, went into work, and got straight through. And I mean straight through... no queue, no page load errors, no nothing... straight to the reg number page.

I've now been able to buy 21 tickets for my friends too.

Let the ISP conspiracy theories commence.... the scuttle bug is that Virgin users have been throttled "considerably".

I also got through on Chrome on my PC but then later managed to order 7 people tickets who were desperate in twitter world on Safari on Mac.

I'm constantly amazed at the 'knock See tickets' comments for their syatems that make us q to get tickets.

There are 135,000 tix for sale and almost certainly more people than that wanting a ticket.

Do you expect See to set up a system that can sell 135,000 immediately - at 9.00 on the button - to the first 135,000 people that are randomly lucky enough to get through first??

I think a system that appears to be selling 34,000 tix per hour - thats around 5,700 per minute - is coping pretty darn well.

Thing is tho its not a queue. A queue would imply that you move up the pecking orded, this is just random refreshes and if you are unlucky with your connection / location / ISP then you are stuffed.

Virgin Media for me does not seem to be able to get beyong the queue page!

I never even got in the queue once from about 8.45 till about half 12. A friend bought them for us in the end thank god.

The queue system was strange we had 3 pc trying from one IP address, my PC got the queuing message on firefox *and* IE, the kids PCs got nothing. I could load as many queue pages as I wanted, but still kids pages just wouldnt load anything

I had 5 tabs doing the normal refreshing themselves every 20 seconds, and one I was pressing F5 on, I got on about 10:20, then when I had finished buying the tickets all the other pages had got through as well

Not sure why the kids couldn't touch it and I could ?
