Dear all concerned,

We're aware that there are a minority of customers chasing the whereabouts of their tickets for Reading & Leeds Festivals. The situation as of 4pm on Tuesday 24th August is that all tickets have been dispatched by Royal Mail Special Delivery. The vast majority have been delivered but we acknowledge there are still some tickets with Royal Mail on their way to you.

You can receive your Royal Mail Track and Trace Number by visiting our order tracker at www.seetickets.com/tracker

We realise that a lot of customers have been left frustrated and angry at the late dispatch of these tickets and for this we unreservedly apologise. Our priority now is to help those customers that haven't received their tickets and we will be dealing with them as absolute priority. We also kindly ask that you limit your comments for Reading and Leeds to this post and refrain from posting under other events threads, as these will be deleted.

If you require any further assistance, and in order for us to help people in the most effective way, please post your reference number and postcode as a comment here and we will call you or email you as soon as possible with a resolution for your order. If you would rather not post your reference number on the thread, please email [email protected] or call 01159 934 492 and we will endeavour to help you further asap.

After the event we will be posting a postal address for anyone who wishes to complain further.

See tickets can expect nothing less than a huge loss of confidence and loss of costume due to this years tickets issues. they have sent tickets out far to late and it is obviously a rush job - this is proven by the fact that I received none of the usual information with the ticket. I hope See learn from this years mess and puts it right and if they don't then Festival Republic should seriously consider whether they use them as an official seller. As for asking us to keep posts in this one place - that just seems like they know they have done wrong but don't want others to know about it. Just accept what has happened and fix it!!

Is it bad that despite still not having my early pass I felt sorry for the lad who answered the phone? It is clearly not his fault and he's probably got 8 hours of being shouted at to go... maybe I'm just so tired my conscience has kicked in by mistake! I didn't shout at him though so no guilt needed

Here is a list of common complaints relating to the poor organisation, shambolic miscommunication and downright lies this year:

Being charged for postage and packaging but that money not being refunded when they have to collect from a local box office.

Being expected to collect from a local box office when you do not come from that area, meaning that of course the box office is not local and you do not know where it is.

A generic message on the phone line saying all tickets have been despatched but then getting through to someone and being told they i) haven't been sent yet, or even worse ii) haven't even been printed - why lie?

Being told that early entry passes will be sent in the same envelope when that was not the original arrangement and actually was not what happened in reality - why lie?

Online tracker saying that tickets must be collected from a local box office and then receiving an e-mail saying they have been despatched to home address.

Being told that tickets were despatched and should be delivered by 1pm the next day, only to phone the next day and be told that they haven't been despatched - why lie?

People receiving not only their own tickets but tickets for other people.

Complete inability to grasp the fact that if you sell people an early entry ticket then they may want to make use of that early entry ticket, not spend the day that they have paid to enter on waiting for their weekend tickets.

    • Very probable. I was a bit surprised by the crowd I saw in the video they drew, and I say that as a big feeder fan. I thought they’d draw a really good sized crowd but it looked rows deep. Chuffed for them though. Still think they’re a great band after all these years.  Rumours at they’re doing a Polythene tour next year too.
    • It sounds like Feeder drew a crowd too big for that stage originally. Given the time period they haven’t appeared at Download as well it's a nostalgia thing. Halestorm vs Feeder wasn't the most ideal but leaving after either to get out would have been sweet at least.
    • You cant see everything unfortunately, it would be Halsey there for me 100%, the last 20/25 of Gorillaz. Halsey would be my non negotiable act on that day myself. Oddly Bleech 9:3 would actually give me an option I wouldn't mind between 3:15pm and Halsey. Dogstar would only likely be a 10 minutes thing of I've seen Keanu lol.
    • I think the tent was just right for Feeder, on that day anyway.   If you had a Biffy-esque day again, or someone of that ilk (maybe Pearl Jam for example), whack them on that main stage. 100%.    As it is, I think feeder will be back and probably high up the second stage or main stage next year or 2028.
    • I think we still have 2 acts to announce each day, maybe one more big name to complete the lineup?   Perhaps the big name is Turnstile on Thursday, which isn't sold out yet. And some other names that could be added like Iceage, Band of Horses or Tomora.
