Sat at work wishing I was back ay Glastonbury ;/ reading through the forum and browsing youtube videos - and to top it all off, I'm tired as f***

My 10hours or so sleep during the festival, seems to be taking longer to get back to normal than i expected!!

I'm used to working nights, but every night I've worked since Glasto I've been falling asleep around 4am!! I've been getting more sleep than normal too like 6/7 hours when I get home,

Anyone else finding it hard to get back into a normal routine? whatever normal may be for you :)

Would be great to go back there right now, two weeks ago I was walking in the glorious sunshine, heading to my car to pick up some more beers, a camping chair and other bits and bobs. Even the long hikes between the carpark and the campsite (I estimated 3 miles from the far end of the West overflow carparks to the top of Dairy Grounds) are better than sitting at work, feeling miserable and avoiding working by coming on the forum.

Best way to get over Glastonbury blues, book another cheap festival ticket. Lots of smaller festivals going on all round the UK, often costing less than £100 for 3 days, and it is something to look forward to.

I've had 2 dreams about glasto in the past few days. At least I'm on summer holiday and I'm going to Egypt for 2 weeks on Monday. Got Leeds in August but if I could choose between Leeds and ANOTHER glasto I'd go glasto again.

Safe to say my third venture into Worthy Farm will indeed be when the gates open again next June :D

It's like pringles, this bloody festival...

Every time I've gone Ive had a f****** wicked time, even in 07, mud and rain..albeit I was more wreckless then than I am now (and don't remember well anything really)

I guess in a way that's why 2010 was probably my best one yet - I actually remember everything except the first night after like 10pm ..the rest of its as clear as anything!!

Learnt to control my greed lol

Check out Alchemy on 17th-19th September, it's a small festival, cheap tickets and seems to have a very loyal following only one year after inception. I am seriously tempted to go to this, but it's one week after Bestival and I might be off to Venice around that time.

I miss it like crazy too :( I also think the key is to have something else to look forward to. I'm not bothering with my usual Leeds this year, so I checked out what fests are on that weekend, so I'm not sitting around moping, and now I'm going to Shambala :D I've also got 2 more weekends away planned, so that'll keep me busy and I have lots to look forward to :D

    • I wonder if he's going to get into the States for the second match against England. Seems a bit weird having players missing for certain matches but not others as the world cup moves around.
    • Quite lucky as I’ve no interest in Halsey at all so I’ve got time for some food and drink before getting in there.   But yeah… thinking I’ll have to leave early to get a decent spot for Gorillaz
