BBC Coverage

This may not be 100% correct cos I only read it in the Radio Times, but apparently if you're one of the people like me who has been meaning to "watch that Vampire Weekend video tonight" every night since you got back, then today is the last day before it gets taken down from the site. Its been a week I suppose so its like the majority of their other iPlayer videos.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/glastonbury/2010/lineup/stage/

So, revisiting an act you loved or checking out one you had to miss, the chance is there. Most of the bands in large type have videos.

With no laptop at home currently cos the Tech Guys are a pile of shite and other laptop is in use on holiday with the rents...I have had to admit near defeat and thought I would miss all the footage. Missed all the Friday recordings but did manage to squeeze in an awful lot of Iplayer viewing whilst staying with chums and Indieheart in Brighton this weekend.

I am not usually one to bother with watching back but did enjoy it this year I have to say more or less.

I've wacked Stevie's and Jack Johnsons sets (and some of Hot Chip) on to Youtube ready for when the footage was taken down

Shameless plugging but that's the first video of the Stevie playlist in case anyone fancies watching it :) The other sets/videos can be reached through it (Don't wanna spam up this page)

I've also found a really good Muse playlist that someone uploaded as well as Faithless, can be found via the search.

Did the BBC not do any Flaming Lips coverage then?

I thought stuff stayed on iPlayer for a month, so obviously went last night to start getting stuff and realised not much about :(

Using a few links people have put on here, but nowhere has mentioned The Flamping Lips so guessing there was a track on one of the best of's at most?

Has anyone managed to record any of the red button coverage? The guy who was uploading it on thebox.bz copped the arse and stopped as some people weren't seeding. I'm particularly interested in getting hold of the Jamie T and Bombay Bicycle Club sets.

Send me a message and I could pop it all on a CD-R. Or I can point you in the right direction if you're familiar with torrents, etc

Dimeadozen.org is great.

My other recommendation is demonoid.com but if you'e not a member you may have to keep checking the website until registration is open (it is sometimes trust me!)

duly replied.

I've uploaded all the flaming lips stuff to rapidshare, anyone else please feel free to message me if you would like the link.

:)

There’s torrents knocking about of The Nationals full set on the other stage that was filmed on BBC4 – includes Mr November which was omitted from the iplayer version probably due to the explicit nature of the chorus.

Surprise of the weekend for me them guys, blew me away, didn’t know that much of them previously.

thebox.bz has all the BBC coverage available as torrents if you've got an account there, Demonoid has a lot as well (though not checked if they have the full set). I've got these and also got all the mp4 (thebox.bz files are all DivX/Xvid) files from the BBC Redux (internal BBC development site) and all the associated radio progs at home as well. All the BBC stuff is about 20GB of files. I suppose we should get this on to a public tracker for people to get hold of really. What's the rules about embedding links to public bit torrent files?

    • Out of interest (I could look but being lazy), do Mad Cool repeat that quickly? They only played last year
    • This basically!, it's about as clear as day they'll be there.
    • Yeah there is no down time, I'm still tired and over thinking from last weeks work. A big reality check this week. If you just do it for the money you always will.
