I'm leaving my homemade Kahlua to mature before I go anywhere near it. I won't let that loose on the Leeds festival when it's done anyway because it's just too exotic.

If you're there on the Wednesday you'll definately get your pick of the spots in Blue. Last year we camped at the front of Blue near the Oxfam tent, it was great and we were camped near a Watchtower so it was quite safe.

Imagine the sight of some washed up 90's Ibiza-hasbeen standing in the middle of the room on his own shouting 'CHOON! CHOON!' whenever some weird Japanese Taoist monks decide to come in and play a cover of 'Born Slippy (Nuxx)' on kotos.

we were in blue A... kind of near the fence leading to white.. and inbetween the path and the outer fence. we all got evacuated from the area on sunday just before KOL cause someones tent set on fire with loads of explosives and set other tents on fire and nearly took a guys head off. then a fight broke out

Both.

The more sights we take in, the better so we know where we are. Me and my girlfriend have never been to Leeds before so we'll try and get our bearings before we do anything.

Our plan for Wednesday is get in, pitch our tent (which'll take about 5 minutes because it's a brilliant Gelert twister), chill out for a bit and have a few drinks, check out the area. Then we'll be having a barbecue if you fancy coming and after we'll sod off somewhere for some music if there's any going on.

If not, we'll be brining a radio with us and we can all sit around and talk bollocks whilst listening to Stuart Maconie.

Most friday nights where I live are a bit like that anyway.

What sort of Dance music is it usually? Acid House, early Drum & Bass, early Rave, classic Chicago House? They're the only types of Dance I can tolerate.

There was me looking really, really forward to the Omogo tribe from the Amazon playing 'Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space' on panflutes.

I'll see how my missus feels about it. I recently had to let 3 people down because she kicked up a fuss about me offering them a lift so I'm not sure if she just wants us to enjoy the festival on our own. Although to be contrary to that notion, there will be around 80,000 people in the same place so it'll be little hard to live inside our own little world.

I'm not a guy that believes in karma but generally if you aren't a w*nker then people won't be w*nkers to you so it'll be a good idea to make as many allies as possible. There's no point going to a festival if you want quiet reflection or a chance to spend time alone. That's me preparing how to speak to her about it, by the way.
