Campervans Arriving Tuesday

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I need to ask something campervan field related. When entering the festival for the first time, do people entering through the pedestrian gates from the campervan fields receive different armbands? My sister reckons they do, meaning I won't be able to visit or stay in their camper if I enter via a 'normal' pedestrian gate

Anyone can enter the campervan fields, the wristbands are the same for all standard ticket holders. You will need to exit via passenger gate C for the campervan fields, this isalso the same gate if you park in East carparks. Do you think she is trying to avoid you!!

Maybe its about the tuesday...

On the tuesday you can only enter the campervan fields if you come in camper

with valid pass.

If you choose to come in the car parks when they open at 9pm tuesday then you

cannot join friends in camper fields until 8am Wednesday as you are confined

to the vicinity of your car.

We are in this boat so two of the party of six are staying in a pub! as

trailer tent towing car only squeeze in 3

When the festival is on there is no restrictions - however to access camper field you come out of the main gate, and then need to go through entry process each day with ticket and wristband to hand

Are you sure about this? Some of our friends are camping camping next to our van, but driving up them selves. We have told them that they can park in the car park and walk over to our camper!! Better tell they that they may not be able too!

I've had the no access from Car Parks to the CV Fields on Tuesday night officially confirmed in an e-mail from GFL. (I raised the possibility because one of our group is disabled but will be coming by car to the car park and then staying with us in CV East). I was told very clearly that under no circumstances will people be able to get from any of the car parks to the CV fields on Tuesday night.

So we'll be setting off from Cardiff about 8.30 on Tuesday mornming with the aim of arriving with our trailer tent not too long after the CV fields open at Midday. My only hope is that first come will get the best spots nearest the site entrance and not be directed to the far ends of the CV fields.

Our friend will do Tuesday night in a B&B near Glasto and arrive on site on Wednesday morning when he should be able to access the CV field.

I am slightly worried about this as well, but surely common sense says that they will fill the field closest to Gate C first and then move backwards, otherwise you will have loads of vehicles moving in fields where loads of people are walking which is less safe
