Luckilly for Everton a similar attempt by Van Der Vaart was disallowed the other night.

I'm saying that in the penalty area they're bad even in comparison to United and Liverpool. You have a point about United's cheating mentality, but at least they do it indiscriminately. Fabregas aside, Arsenal players only go down in the box, which frankly is worse than doing it all the time.

I've not said they dive more. I have said that I believe that it's an approved team tactic, whereas I don't believe that's the case at other clubs (perhaps some, tho I and everyone else would have difficulty identifying which - which isn't the case with Utd).

If you look beyond all the lovely passing, you'll find they're amongst the snidiest out there, both on the fouling and diving front and Fabregas is constantly in the refs ear

Rubbish! He's not suppossed to foul the player with his contact. Merely touching a player in a physical tussle is not a foul.

If we take Gerrard's diving as the non-Utd example, then it's something that he does mostly to rescue his team - when they're behind, or to get the winner at the end of the game.

The fact of berba doing it 28 seconds into a game makes it something different, a default way of winning any game no different to shooting towards the goal.

Care to point out their diving right thru Saturday's game, starting in the first minute as a way to win the game from the off? ... Or was it diving as a way to try and rescue the game at the end?

Such things get to show that not all diving is equal.

That's not me saying that diving at the end of the game is acceptable BTW, but it does make it something very different.

Now, he is another on the Gerrard, Nani, Drogba, Diouff et al level, a massive cheat, no mistaking.

Im sure if he moved to Liverpool as touted, he'd only be doing it in the best interests of the team, when theyre a goal down though, which is completely different to cheating at any other time of course
