More twaddle, and this time stating opinion as fact.

eh?

Did WBA go down? Yep.

Did just about everyone say they'd go down playing like that? Yep.

Were those players capable of playing in a different way? Yep.

If they'd played in a different way, was there the possibility of a different outcome? Yep.

So tell me: where exactly are you confused?

He stated that he wouldn't compromise on his footballing beliefs - all very admirable from the spectacle side of things, but from the managers side where it's surely the most important priority to do the best you can with league position it's a very long way from that. It makes him naive at best and an utter failure as a manager at worst.

Why do you think that you know Tony Mowbray's team of 2008/09 better than he did?

That's an irrelevance, and its irrelevance is the whole bleeding point!

He wasn't choosing his tactics to get the best result from any match. He pretty much explicitly stated that.

He was choosing his tactics because he wanted to play football in a particular manner. Choosing to play the game that way in every game meant that he lost points he needn't have lost.

Spelling it like that would suggest you don't know how its pronounced let alone spelt.

as ever, you're so far off the mark that it's laughable.

Have you never had a temporary blind spot to how to spell a word you'd know without problem on another occasion? No? Then I bow down to your perfect existence.

If I cared about irrelevances as much as you I'd have taken the trouble to look it up. But I don't, because I have a life that goes beyond satisfying small minded morons.

So, WHAT a match in Anfield last night. Wow!! Unbelievable quality on display, from Joe "Better than Messi" Cole, to Poulsen, from Babel to the entire Utrecht team, incredible. I don't know about you but I felt so lucky watching two teams as good as that go head to head in such an entertaining match.

I watched the first half, but decided that The Apprentice would be much more entertaining than the 2nd half. Seems like I was right.

To be fair to them, it was a team where 10 of them have barely had a kick this season (the 1 being Skrtel). Cole was utter rubbish, but no worse than he's been in the other games he's played for Liverpool.

And - I'm guessing - there were probably a few youngsters playing who are not in Liverpool's Prem squad.

Shelby looks good, Kelly looks good, but outside of those two (who need a few more years and many more senior games) the rest are just exceedingly average.

Its got nothing to do with looking it up. At first I thought you were doing you're very witty thing of constantly refering to someone in a play on their name etc ('Woy' Hodgson, the 'Chumps' League, 'Shitty' for example - you know, the stuff that regularly sidetracks the thread for hours at a time for suggestions you should go in to stand-up), so thats why I asked as I didn't see where you getting that from Mowbray's fine pit-yacker, rats-for-dinner Saltburn accent. Then when you said you weren't, I thought that if you were spelling it phoneetically then you must have a proper silly accent to be using y's in place of w's.

And yes, you are being dramatically defensive and confrontational over what is a very mundane observation.

Then perhaps you should ask yourself why it is that without exception you only ever make hostile "mundane observations" towards me.

As I've already told you, it's boring me, because you are without doubt boorish.
