Aquilani is probably the reason RB is no longer manager of the Reds. It was the straw that broke the camels back.

Robbie Keane is a different kettle of fish. Apart from 3 or 4 seasons at Spurs he has been very restless. Thats more of a 50:50 thing. Certainly not Rafa's fault specifically.

When Robbie Keane was sold, we didn't and still haven't replaced him. It's all about making a profit and reducing the wage bill at LFC these days which is down to the ownership of the club. Until that is resolved we won't be challenging the top 4. I'm not even confident about making the UEFA Cup next season - our best chance might be to actually win the thing this season!

i'm assuming you're not meaning this in the way that i'm going to have a go at.

but gets on my tits how people will put league table place (qualifying for europe), over actually competing in europe. it's a heidf**k.

I'd rather us not qualify for it at all mate. Thats not me being arrogant saying we are too good for the competition by the way! You do get some brilliant destinations to visit from it - far better than the Champions League (I'm going to all the away group games) but it causes havoc with the traditional fixture list. We play Sunderland tomorrow. It's a Saturday and it's a 3 o'clock kick-off. Last time that happened was on the 30th January and the next time it'll happen will be on the 18th December! Sunday games are a pain in the arse.

Just been sent the Liverpool team for tomorrow;

Reina. Johnson, Carragher, Skrtel, Konchesky. Poulsen, Meireles. Kuyt, Gerrard, Cole. Torres.

Disappointed to see that Agger isn't involved after his style of play created the opener on Wednesday. Also two holding-midfielders at home to Sunderland...

Reina, Gerrard, Cole, Torres. If they all play to potential and stay fit (and get the f**king ball to Torres' feet!!), Liverpool could do damage this season. They're a match for anyone. Otherwise...well.....

That's their problem though isn't it. Other than Kuyt popping up with a few, who else is going to get any goals for them other than Torres, Cole and Gerrard? I think probably only Gerrard and Torres will get into double figures, and only COle and Kuyt get over 5. Compare that to chelsea where you can see Drogba, Malouda, ANelka and Lampard all getting double figures with lots of others weighing in as well (Essien, Kalou, Sturridge).

    • Yeah f**k knows at this point.   I did a little bit of digging earlier, and it was more 'on the ropes' than categorically not happening, and the reason been that she's asking for all sorts. I think all sorts is more production based stuff rather than the fee. As I keep saying, though, there's a lot of whispers at the moment but very little concrete.
    • Ah they did yes, maybe she asked for a lot more than that. Given for example what harry had at Wembley she could have a big stage that juts right out at BST and get mega money for it for 3 nights. She won't get anywhere near that for Glastonbury
    • They did have a big ramp to the front and sides though. And the phoenix.
    • Somerset live says  Olivia Dean has turned down the chance to headline as she is concentrating on new music next year. Not a very reliable source of course.
    • They didnt move any product things etc for the stones i don't believe who commented recently on how far the crowd is away.
