Do you like her? Do you respect her? Do you want to keep seeing her when you get back? Do you want o live the rest of your relationship in a lie?.... so that'll be a 'keep it your pants' then....

<Ross>

Unless you are on a break. :-)

From a purely moral standpoint I’d say you should keep it in your pants. However the holiday was booked before you got together so I’d also say don’t beat yourself up if anything were to happen.

Personally I’d go to Glastonbury with no preconceptions or expectations and just go with the flow.

If you do decide to go on the pull however I would aim to get it over with in the first day or two or as somebody once said on here somewhere you’ll find yourself trying to peel open the equivalent of a Dairylea sandwich in her pants.

I can't believe how many people have bitten to this quite magnificent bit of fishing by young Thomas.

:lol:

I have never seen a single serious post by young Tommmy here, I have no reason to think this is anything different. Still, made me laugh.

Is your girlfriend working class?

If she is, and you cheat on her, you have not only cheated on poor Amanda, but also on the entire British working class civil rights movement, the whole Trade Union movement and any other affiliated socialist bodies.

Clearly this is not cheating, ignore all these boring old men and women with brooms up their arses, i wish you the best of luck. Although i must tell you that i have been to Glasto twice, and despite being god's gift to women, have had no luck thus far.

Make sure you really put out, the festival girls love that.

The thing is all the knee jerk anti-cheating posts are really relevant to long term relationships, we don't even call ourselves boyfriend and girlfriend. One friend said it's a bit like a new job, she should honour any prebooked commitments.

    • Tbf that happened to me in 2022 so not a one off. 40 euros to drive down 3 streets. I'd have done a runner but the reason for getting the taxi in the first place is cos I couldn't walk no more.
    • I was fully prepared (waterproof jacket, extra pair of socks, foldable umbrella), but after four hours in the rain (from Geese through Oklou to Florence Road), it was just too much. Already at the hotel, let's hope tomorrow's better.
    • It’s rare that I watch question time, but I almost felt sorry for Kenyon, he seemed like a guy just brought off the street which effectively is what he was, made worse by the fact Burnham and the Tory guy were very strong debaters. I think Burnham was very aware not to go too hard on Kenyon and risk him getting sympathy, in fact he pretty much ignored him.
    • Shambles. Transport and comms garbage. Been looking forward to this since last June and have never been to a more disorganised festival in 30+ years.  Why we were told the whole festival was cancelled for the night if they had put back shows for a few hours?  Pissed off to say the very least and put a huge downer on the rest of the weekend.
    • Rotten communication. Actually god awful. Posting sporadically on IG, closing Mordor only to reopen and cause some serious carnage. Left the festival as it got too much for my 16year old daughter. She was devastated about Alex G and Mac…but TV girl could have saved it. Took us until 1220 and already home to find out they might/are playing. Pish.    and on another note, this festival has lost its bastard soul. Gone are the wee tents with local sellers selling vinyl, t shirts etc, now you can buy a 50 f**king eur official T-shirt. The ar*e is truely out of this event now. I went to Porto for the first time last year and it was fab. I love Barcelona and the line up is always stacked, but this festival is a corporate loss take. Hopefully a better day tomorrow.
