I went to the fantastic street festival that is Dot to Dot in Nottingham on Sunday.

Saw some bands, a few sets that got me looking forward to their sets a glasto- the cheek and blood red shoes.

But wanting to get a good place for main stage headliners Los Campesinos! i got there early and saw the whole of Beach House's set.

I was absolutely blown away by their set. It was a amazing! Such ambiance, their music sweetly drifted around the room with grace and beauty.

Next day i bought their first self titled LP and it sounds awesome on record. They are playing mid card on Saturday at the Park stage.

Anyone else come across these guy and girl duo?

I went to go and see them at Primavera, but the stage they were on was in a cul de sac and you literally couldn't get near - the crowd went halfway back down the path to the nearest stage

I'd heard good things about these, but listened to a couple of songs on youtube and wasn't impressed. Nothing wrong with them, but they just seemed a bit bland.

Im def gonna try and check their set out. The album is gorgeous.

I really quite want to see these but have a feeling they clash with someone or it involves some major hotfooting it to catch them (I wanna say Grizzly Bear but alas have left home without my latest edition of my highlighted colour co-ordinated Clashfinder...)

Got their Devotion and Teen Dream albums, both are gorgeous. Will defo go to see them.

However - they find themselves in a 3 way fight for my attention on the Saturday afternoon, with Devendra Banhart at West Holts & Wild Beasts at JP. I fear the winner will be whoever is closest to the Other Stage - no way I'm missing a second of The National. Therefore they're in with a shout

Hotfooting after to The National.

They toured in 2008 as a double headliner with Fleet Foxes playing small venues before the latter broke the big time, and they were pretty good then. However, I think the latest album is much stronger than the first one and I'd really like to see them, but the clash with The National is a very tough one to call.
