You've read my thoughts!! Just spent the best part of Sat night watching my hubby play football over here in OZ and was watching the full moon rise over the river behind the pitch thinking wouldn't it be bloody fantastic if we were able to see something like that in 4 weeks time when we are at Glasto - and whola there it will be.. getting the tingles just thinking about it all

Watched the Hunters Moon of 2008 rising over the Murray in the Riverland in October that year. Was bloody stunning especially the way it reflected off the river.

It will be lush but I am a bit sad as it means that the star gazing capabilities will be massively reduced and I was looking forward to a star geek sesh at the rumoured telescopes that are set in the Green Fields.

Hey ho. Full Moonlight plus Glastonbury...bloody marvellous.

I'm fairly sure Sunday that year was "Hand of God" day, although we didn't have mahoosive screens to watch and had to make do with radios on mediumwave (ask your parents/grandparents)

Sounds like a bad football-related omen to me :P

A full moon is an instance. An infinitesimally small amount of time not a day like most people think. Not a lot of people know that. Is this really the first full moon at the festival? Has anyone checked that?
