You say stuff that I don't want to pay more taxes when I say totally opposites constantly here.

Do I have to trawl back thru the posts you made here only yesterday, where you said that you shouldn't pay more taxes but only the top 1% should?

Which gets to show that you believe yourself deserving of everything you get right now, but also that you're quite happy to bullshit to try and preserve a rep for yourself as a good guy who cares for others.

When it comes down to you or the other guy, the other guy is feckless and workshy, and you deserve everything you have without question.

Your taxes are the level that they are because of the tiny number of people who take the piss out of the benefits system, your taxes are the level they are because of the huge number of people that your own position puts into unsustainable positions.

But that doesn't work to your agenda so you choose to ignore it. Sums you up. You can't see past your dogma.
says the man who constantly justifies his own position by his own agenda.

I don't say anything of what I'm saying because I want to enrich myself - which is what you're doing. If I wanted greater riches I can have them, no problem; I'm happy with my lot.

I say what I say because my eyes are open to the effects that your selfish thinking causes.

I have no issue paying more tax if there is something to show for it...
But people like you would see me pay more tax and not get anything for it.
I pay the share asked of me... And it puts my family in the top 10% of contributors... What more do you want from us...

we fund the feckless and work shy quiet heavily...

Yep, Barry is quite happy to pay more ion tax, aren't you Barry? PMSL.

You're only happy to pay extra is it's you and just you that gets every penny back to your personal benefit.

It might surprise you to know, but taxes are not a personal benefits system, they're a national funding system. Everyone pays in, without any guarantee of getting back what they pay in.

So you say, I said, I won't pay more tax and then you post links showing me saying I would pay more tax. You are nuts.

There's a massive difference between paying happy to pay more in taxes, and what you said - that you're happy to pay more in taxes but only if you directly get everything of that back to you personally.

Being happy to pay greater taxes is that and nothing else. It's about contributing to the country, and not contributing to just yourself.

But it's hardly surprising that you are what you are, when you cannot recognise the first thing about what a selfish self-serving c**t you are. They don't come more tory scum than you.

We don't have to take them.

I used to have countless 'good' opportunities and still get a few each year - that would see my income increase four-fold or more. While the extra money would be nice (after all, extra money is always nice) it doesn't come for free.

If I took one of those jobs I'd work less hard (yes, really! For 4 times the money! Which gets to show that those who get more don't work more), but I'd also have to be a c**t or have to work for c**ts - neither of which I'm prepared to do (been there, done that). I would far rather, as much as practically possible, act to my conscience.

why would you have to be a C**t to earn 4 times the money and do less work, this is where i find your position the most confusing
because the companies in the position to pay me four or more times as much are only in that position because they're c**ts, happy to exploit the system as it is for their own advantage.

The whole economic system is wrong. That won't change for all the while that people grab what they can from that wrongness.

in my industry i work with a lot of c**ts (property developers/ landlords/ Councillors) but my view point is the benefits outside of my work, the potential of having a better home etc etc far outweighs the negatives of working with a bunch c***ts

so you put the selfish over anything else.

That makes you little different to most others, but not everyone is like that.

(but I've been there and done it too. Then I grew a conscience).

No I am happy to pay more. Tax for something that helps us all in something we all need a hand in...

so you would (say) be happy to pay an extra £300 a week in tax to get back just £150 of that thru your own childcare?

I expect you to answer 'yes' to that. Because I know that you're very happy to lie.

You've said very explicitly in the past that you deserve every moment and every penny of your three expensive holidays each year - and you can't have both. It doesn't take a genius to know which of the two you consider of greatest importance.

You want people to be happy paying more tax regardless of anything. You don't want people to have opinions. Your an undemocratic communist,

Oh do fuck off you tiny-minded self serving c**t.

You 100% disagree with reversing the rich having got richer and the poor having got poorer. You believe you have 100% entitlement to everything you have - you've said it continuously.

why is it selfish to want a nice house? so to gain a conscience, i basically need to take a pay cut and give my money other people?

it's not selfish to want a nice house unless you're also denying the same opportunity to all others via the same basis.

Each big nice house equals a substandard house for someone else.

Each long day worked equals no work for someone else.

Each above-average pay equals below average pay for someone else.

I don't have any problem at all with difference. I have massive problems with the amount of difference.

None of that is nessaserly true. Life isn't as much of a zero sum game as you make out. For a start via welth redistribution a nice big house's stamp duty can pay for renovation of a council house.
it could yep - and yet 'fair' might mean that it should instead pay for the renovation of 100 council houses and not just one.

What I'm railing against is the idea that nothing about how things are can be changed.

Barry believes he deserves everything he has. Yet if 'fair' is something else to how we currently work it then that cannot be true.

Is our current 'fair' really fair? I'd say that standard workers getting ever-less while the rich (anyone over the average wage) get ever-richer - which has been what has been happening in our society for the last 30+ years - gets to show that it isn't.

If standard workers cannot afford to live - which the situation we've now got to, with 5M needing tax credits while working - then we've moved a very long way from anything which can be said to be fair.

we certnaly haven't used all our land up yet.
and yet the price is land is controlled by the amount of land that is released for housing - which ensures that only the rich can have access to enough land to be enjoyable.

Who stops that land being released? The rich. The poor don't give a shit if another field is tarmacced over, cos all they can see now is tarmac. It's the rich who stop it happening, because they believe they've bought more than the house they've bought, they believe they've bought control of the land around them too ... and in effect, they have, because their rich buddies are the ones making the decisions, decisions for their own benefit and not decisions for everyone in society.

However at the same time there is the argument that to create a new buisness may well take long hours but that will eventually lead to new jobs for others.
the economic reality gets to prove that doesn't happen. That reduction in hours would also require a reduction in income, and the income is theirs and only theirs (see Barry's endless posts).
Well of course above average pay for one person leads to below average pay for another. And in my opinion trickle up works much better than trickle down to sort out the economy.
there is only the very stupid economists - ones who lie for their own benefit - who now try to say that trickle down works to any extent. There is not a siunbgle jot of evidence to show that it does.

Over 30 years of economics-in-reality has been based in the idea that it does, and yet that is what has led us to economic ruin. And still the same ideas persist, unchanged.

Meanwhile the still-unregulated bankers keep on stealing your money to benefit this govt of millionaires and those who see themselves as their replacements (such as Barry).

However high wages also means, hopefully, a high tax bill.

which is the sort of empty meaningless argument that is put forwards to ensure that nothing will ever change.

if we're not such a low tax economy, where does all the tax go?
a huge amount goes in supporting the arms trade. Billions and billions - far more than any scroungers get.

So who are the real scroungers?

Right now Dave Moron is in Algeria, trying to flog them weapons subsidised by the British taxpayer.

We don't have an inferior health system.
true for some, not for others.

We certainly have a better healthcare system than exists in the country in developed world where the healthcare system is most-funded by private means - the USA (and that's with the USA spending twice the amount that the UK does).

But it's inferior to others, such as Germany, and even Cuba and 'the Israeli occupied territories' (Palestine).

But you won't allow me an opinion....

what you mean is that you won't allow yourself a consistent opinion, other than the one which tells you that you're fully deserving of everything you have and that everyone 'beneath you' is feckless &/or workshy.

BTW, I had to laugh given your comments earlier today ... by chance I had a call from someone who works for the UN just now, who said (amongst other things) it's important that I keep up my ranting for the good of the world.

So despite you thinking I'm all on my own with identifying who the scumbags are, some of those Stalinists at the UN () have much the same opinion to me. Just a thought.

Iran are members of the UN... Just a thought...

I didn't need to ask if she was Iranian for me to know that she wasn't pushing an Islamic vision onto the world (tho that's no different to the Vatican pushing it's Catholic vision of course).

Meanwhile, care to tell me what heinous things Iran has done that outstrips what the UK and USA manages?

and then there was only silence..... ;)

Your full of shit. Your a total communist and everything you have said goes to prove it.

You really think that, don't you?

Which only gets to prove how incredibly stupid you are - and if the stupid like you can get on and think themselves clever, than fuck for the 'feckless' who outclass you by a few million times.

You have no interest in what ANYONE has to say only to the point you can rewrite it to suit your dogma. Discussion with you is pointless.

When you start to bang on about the feckless and workshy, you get to prove that it's not me whose political views are the ones driven by stupidity and dogma.

If you want a sensible conversation Barry, you need to start it with sense and not stupidity. And then to keep that sense and not stupidity thru-out.

I leave you to your personal madness and dreams of calls from the UN LMAO.
yes, I dreamt up the call from someone claiming to work for the UN about them looking into putting sponsored stages into festivals, I really did.

    • So we've signed a Horny Czech, and Bruno's turned up the training camp instead of doing Isak's nonsense.   Still not sure I believe Bruno's staying mind, but glad he's not doing the sh*t Arsenal are asking him to do to lower the price. If they want him they can stump up.   My suspicion is that whichever of Madrid/Man City don't start next season with Rodri will go for Bruno, and one of them will come in while Arsenal have f**ked about trying to get him cheap, which while I absolutely want to keep him, would still be good enough bants and a nice middle finger that I wouldn't mind it so much. I just wish we'd report Arsenal for tapping up.   If rumours are to be believed, we're after 2 more defensive signings, and an attacking player, on top of a replacement if Bruno leaves, having already signed a LW, 2 CMs, a GK, and some youth players. Huge churn, but apart from a couple of Bazou Toure's games for Ivory Coast at the world cup, I've not seen any of them play. Over 2 summers we've basically changed our entire team aside from the CBs.
