It mentions the Samsung E900 and D900 in the listing, are Samsung a standard fitting? If so you should be okay! If it has a USB connecter it will also br okay as the power out fitting is a standard USB.

Cheers guys, I've just bought one. First year with an iphone, was wondering how to keep it going without visiting those god awful chill and charge tents - hey presto a solution! Sounds like its the business, thanks again :P

Picked mine up today :P

Remember you can pretty much charge any device as long as you have a USB cable for it

The output is 5 volts 1a,

So in theory as long as the device you are connecting to does not draw more than that then any USB device can be charged from them..

So far I have charged my Nokia, e71 iphone, Sony Walkman.

Its a great bit of kit for the money.

I have looked on eBay and your phone looks to have the smaller Nokia pin connection which is the same as my 6136. The phone actually comes with this connecter so no need to take a cable you may loose! :P

I don't think the Nokia 5800 can be charged via USB, but you should be able to charge it through it's charging socket. I think that Ted Baker comes with standard Nokia, mini-Nokia etc. As strudders says, it's 5V and that's what Nokias need to charge.

That iPhone one is 1900mAH and from the reviews does about 2 full charges.

Does that mean that these Ted Baker packs could potentially do about 3.5 charges for an iphone or am I just showing my ignorance of electronics?

Mili-ampere-hour is not an energy unit, so it does not give an indication of the capacity. An energy unit would be based in Joules, which may be represented in other forms such as Watt-hours.

Oh - I thought it could be charged via USB? It certainly connect to the laptop via USB.

Ah well, no matter if it comes with the kit. I can charge it in the socket with most people's adapters if I'm round someone's house and forget mine.

How long is it taking people to charge these Ted Baker jobbies up before their first use? I've been charging via the laptop or in a plug socket for over 3 hours now and the light is still red. Occasionally flashes though. Should I be worried?

Oh, and thankyou to the OP for this!

I unplugged the first one after 5 hours as the red light was flashing sometimes. When I press the button no light comes on unless it is charging, and it does nothing when connected to my iPhone. Took the second one out of its box and that one can charge straight away. So I looked here http://www.avforums.com/forums/iphone-disc...le-battery.html

and it looks to be a dud.

    • I'm British so it very much would apply for me.   I mean, it's a moot point as I don't have tickets so will not be in town for this, but I've heard reports of lengthy queues and given I remember Lisbon Airport having a long queue at arrivals even pre-EES when I went in 2023, I seem to guess it might be quite the wait, depending on flight paths.   Certainly, the worst I've had pre-EES was a 45 minute wait for a stamp at Valencia Airport in Spain, where 4 flights to non-EU destinations in quick succession were placed one after the other. So I can't say I'm enthusiastic about what's in store. Or you know. Maybe I'm just overthinking it.
    • Out of interest keep seeing messages saying last 12 hours etc… to buy you full weekend tickets.  Whats that about? Do they take them off sale early?
    • I reckon it'll be deftones and Biffy clyro
    • If Friko are replacing The Beths that's a very rare example of a band being replaced by another band who I'm equally eager to see. Great news.
