World Cup 2010

I know six or seven players deserve to be in the England starting eleven, but there is only one player who is an absolute certainty to get picked, regardless of fitness or form. I don't see why he wasn't named captain. He's capable of inspiring those around him, and he certainly gets his point across. And there's no danger of him sleeping with a team-mate's wife or girlfriend, because they're all under the age of 50.

I'm glad. He should never have been given an England cap again after that stupid TV show he did before the last world cup. Just a tosser.

Reckon the injury is just a get out clause cos he's been on the sniff again! For legal purposes this is only a joke...

If that was Arsenal, I wonder if Wenger would have been as gracious to the Japanese player as Sven was?

How neutral can you really be as an Irish man? Hm?

You must be up for em, or very much against them no? Is that not the Irish way? (With more than 90% going against them, yet following them week in week out in the PL :rolleyes: )

As for your comment, I too laugh at Terry but wrt Rio..........I laugh at him too. The guys a knob! He simply oozes "Dickhead"

    • We had a really good weekend this year. This was our 2nd year after giving it a go last year with 3 year old twins (we do Glasto but don't take the kids and have no plans to in the distant future!!).   Highlights of the weekend for me was Peter Hook & the Light, English Teacher, Flaming Lips, Adult DVD and Alex James (I get the karaoke thing but I still thought it was great). Missed loads of acts we wanted to see due to having two kids in tow but overall we left happy with what we managed to see across the weekend. Some great food vendors, good to see Steak Frites make an appearance this year, one of my faves from Glasto. Festival is really well run, toilets remained clean and stocked with loo roll all weekend, even on Sunday night/Monday morning. The walk from the cars is a ballache but it is what it is, arriving Thursday evening meant we were parked as far away as you could be.   My only gripe is that there seems to be a trend of parents letting their teenagers camp completely separately to them in family camping. We had a large group of 15-17 year olds near us who came home pissed up every evening at 3-4am being really loud and annoying! I get that it's a festival etc but I think it's taking the piss a bit letting your kids camp separately and disrupt everyone else.   All in all we had a really good time and are looking forward to next year.
    • Haha, was about to say! I'd def put more stock in the exit poll than a sh*t joke on Bluesky. Thanks for panicking me though. 😁
    • f**k! "Susan Hall" Jesus. Ok, calm down.
