Thing is most of the time these days, I don't even associate song titles with songs anymore. Haven't got enough time. Normally it's the track number and the album title that it's filed by in my brain. Or - even less helpfully - "the widdly one off his last album".

Amused to Death I think fitted perfectly on a 90, I think.

I must have had about ten different walkman / portable cassette players. I'd knacker at least one a year. This is as result of a long walk to school, and spending lots of time as a child flying economy long haul.

I remember the first one I got that had auto-reverse. Awia it was. Awesome. Lasted three months.

I, probably naively, am still holding out for a Floyd reunion tour with the three remaining members. I know deep down how unlikely this is, but they are literally my musical heroes, by far and above anything or anyone else in my book. But getting to the point of Waters doing the wall at glastonbury, I cant see it. I can see Waters, or Gilmour for that matter, doing a set at Glasto. Floyd arent going to play this year so no point in speculating. I'd be very happy with either waters or gilmour though, would be my fave act of the fest I reckon...

If Waters played The Wall do you think he'd leave out "Comfortably Numb" in an act of childish petulance?!!!! I am right thinking that was the only song Gilmour wrote on the album aren't I?

lol. Yeah, auto-reverse and after many years a walkman that ran on a single AA was miraculous! And I can never forget the headphones that always tore my hair out and had bright orange foam on the earpieces. And don't get me started on my Amiga obsession! lol

The Nal's power box from his A500 packed it in and he nicked mine. He's had that / an indistuctable Competition Pro joystick and about 100 hooky disks from me since 1994.

@Nal lol

    • 1. Baby Dave - Billy 2. A - Prang   Not really got round to listening to many more in May so not really fair to vote but shoutout to EPs from Bleech 9:3 - Bleech 9:3 & Villanelle - Measly Means
    • Guitarricadelafuente was bloody brilliant tonight. This is going to be a very Spanish focussed year for me. Rusowsky dragging out Las Ketchup on Saturday has the potential to be a Prima magic moment.
    • £112 for standard entry. No thank you.
    • Meanwhile Gracie Abrams is £92 for the cheapest with the average price around £160 for lower tier and £103 standing.   First time in a while I've gone from a definite yes to a definite no on price alone.   Amble was £31 this morning.
